por dios, alguien que me diga como hacer funcionar el modulo korg ns5r con windows xp.
consegui el driver para xp pero se me reinicia la pc, ya no se mas que hacer.
es una pena, solo me falta configurar mi modulo para ponerme a tocar...

Damaged wave files
I was doing a live recording and I had a power outage. The wave file is there and it is almost 1 Gig. Unfortuantly when I open it it is 1 second long when it should be about 2 hours long. Cant find a restoration program to fix it. Help!!!!!!!

How do I share my music off my hardrive with people on WINMX?
roland vs-1880
Whats the best way to connect the vs-1880 (via MIDI) to a software program (like cool edit pro 2.0,or Acid.4.0 or cakewalk 9) to a computer with Windows XP-PRO. With a sound Blaster Audio Card, or whats the Cheepest audio Card (and or type) that will work best, that I can get away with.
What Im tring to do is, import all of my old songs from the 1880 into one of the S/W Programs so they are split up track for track, to use the computers effects for Mix-Downs. I think I’m tring to Dump all of my 1880 sequence’s into the computer. If You have a simple solution (some-what) please help me out, I love the 1880 but the effects in the S/W programs are Off the Walls. Thanks TYRELL JOHNSON?????????????

HEY I JUST PUT A REFERERENCE TIMING CLICK ON ALL THE TRACKS AND BROUGHT THEM INTO COOL EDIT PRO TRACK BY TRACK VIA A DIGITAL LIGHT PIPE (USE YOUR 1880 TO BURN A TRACK BY TRACK CD IF YOU HAVE TO) LINED THEM UP BY THE TIMING CLICK AND HAD LOTSA FUN IT'S LOW RENT I KNOW BUT DOABLE
Playing M01 Midi files
I have midi files with the extension of M01 which will not load on any of my sequencers. They worked with a circa 1997 version of Soft concert, tune1000, Media Jukebox player/sequencer and I lost that version of the software, can anyone help or maybe give suggestions, Thanks
Playing tune1000 M01 files
I have midi sequences from the older tune1000 media jukebox type that have a .M01 extension and most midi sequencers won't recognize that. Does any body have a seq software that will play these files?

I have the program, Lime Wire....But I can't figgure out how to burn the songs i have downloaded on to disks. My computer has or had a CD burner in it, but i'm still not shure how to use it! Please Help me!

What do you mean HAS or HAD a burner? Do you have one or not? That'll help me answer your question.

soundforge / wavelab /cooledit no signal
Hi ... suddenly I can't get a signal to play into my three audio programs SoundForge, CoolEdit and Wavelab. I can play wav files already on my pc thru them, and rip tracks directly from CDs - but no signal comes thru in real time from line-in or from CD or streaming audio from the net. My Realtek soundcard driver is operating OK. I've checked all the obvious things - volume control settings and inputs etc and other configurations - but no joy. Anyone any ideas?
WRK to MUS???
Is it possible to convert Cakewalk files (.wrk) into Finale files (.mus). I know I can save the .wrk file as a MIDI, then just open it with Finale and convert it on the fly, but when I do that the rhythms get distorted and other countless small things go wrong.
Anyone know if there's a way to simply open a Cakewalk file in Finale?

Have you tried any AV programs other than Norton? Somtimes you can get faLse diagnosis.

retrieving music from broken cassette tape
My boyfriend had recorded onto a cassette tape in the 80s. I put the tape in the player and the ribbon broke. Can any of the recording from the tape be retrieved and transferred to cd? If anyone can help I'd appreciate it!

Should be possible if you can respool the tape.

I don't know what kind of computer you have but they do all basically come with basic software that lets you record your voice.
I recorded my voice using Window's simple voice recorder program and then put it on one of my webpages.

how to get started with vs2000?
Help! I need to find the best book or books to learn the concepts needed to use my new Roland VS200. In other words to speed up my learning curve. I've learned very little so far, so right now I just need an overview of what this machine and the software counterparts can do. I suppose what I am looking for is someone to say...here are the kinds of problems people wanting to build track face, and then here are the solutions that can be had using the vs2000.
Someone let me know where to begin so as to do the work needed to learn, but not go in useless "loops" getting there.

need help getting a handle the concept of building tracks
Help! I just bought a Roland VS2000, to record demos. I am a singer and currently I am using Karaoke CD+Gs to sing to. I want to learn how to build background tracks for myself and others and to record bands live while looking forward to producing tracks for broader use. What books are really good at helping someone start at zero and move to where they have a really good overview of what the problems are and then of coarse what the solutions are ie what can I do with this thing?

How do I make sure to get the song title to read when you play on a car cd player to show in the display. I use different types of programs, sonic, musicmatch, or creator 7, but everytime I make a cd and play it in my car the display never reads the title. Yet I have had other people make cd's and it will show the title on my display. So I know it is possible.

I'm guessing your car stereo is reading the ID3 tags rather than file names and the CDs your burning don't have tags. That's also assuming you mean MP3s?
Open the file in Winamp, right click/view file info. Click the ID3 box and add the artist/title info and update. Try burning them after that.

Does software exist to record from iTunes (mac OS10.3) to Sony Minidisk?

Can't you just connect your MD to your Macs Line-Out, hit record on it and play the songs in iTunes.

SC8850 Instrument selection
Is there an easy way to select SC8850 instruments from the Track View of Cakewalk without having to use the 0,32 control changes or sysex?
Yamaha keyboards
Many Yamaha keyboards have a function "initial setup send" but I have yet to meet anyone who knows how to use it.
I can dump a data set to my computer using the MIDI cable, but how do I load it back again? It seems to be a Write Only function :-(
