Searching for a programme

Hello! My name is András. I am searching for a program, which I can simulate a full symphonic orchestra with. I don't know any softwares, so I think I'll need your help. It is possible to buy it, but if you could give me a link or a name for a demo-version to try, I would be pleased. Thank you.

Hi Andràs, I think that if you want to record audio for your struments (so you play audio track) a good program is the same I have, Cakewalk Home Studio 2002, wich offers a series of envelope controls that are very Ok for the strings. You can use also the more simple Cakewalk Pro Audio 9.03, that offer a tuner for your instruments. You can apply a lot of effects with Cakewalk Fx 1, 2 and 3. This last include a room-simulation for your sound (Gregorian chapel, theathre, small room, ...). you can use also Cubase 5 32 (but I think that cakewalk home studio it's better). If you want the most professional thing try Cakewalk Sonar. That's the best program for recording and mixing audio.

Actually you can download DEMO versions to try before

how can I optmize the PC to record into the IDE HD.
my OS is the windows 98, I've got problems,the PC is extending the real time of the original takes.
My PC has an asus motherboard, creative audigy, AMD processor 1,4 Gb, 256 Mb RAM, Cakewalk Pro 9.

I hope this isn't too complicated for anyone, now... all you have to do is rename the .cs3 file to .csg , pop it in, and jam!

I had the same problem and I think that Encore 4.2 doesn't work on Windowns XP. But I discovered a site that has for free Encore 4.5 that works on Windows XP:

I had the same problem and I think that Encore 4.2 doesn't work on Windowns XP. But I discovered a site that has for free Encore 4.5 that works on Windows XP:

software to add midi to mp3/wave music?

I have some music in mp3/wave format that I want to customize (e.g add percussion, add main tune to a karaoke music, add metronome for training, etc), so I'm looking for software that can have one audio track and one or more midi tracks that allows me to compose on screen.

It would be even better if the software can render the midi track and mix it with the audio to produce a wave or mp3 output.

I'm not familiar w/ midi terminology. Is what I'm looking for called a midi sequencer or editor? Is the audio track feature common?

Is there a free software that would serve my purpose?

when i try to record my song into an mp3 format like soundforge i started receiving some problems.
first, for some reason everyt song could record from a midi to a wave file except for one giving the message,
"the microsoft sound mapper is being used by another application, close or suspend the application before using the device and try again"
i thought that only song was corrupt and that there was no explaination to it cause it was only happening with the one song but now it is happening to all the songs

please some one for assistance
