Think he's talking about live performance type stuff...i'm still searching myself...so far...audiomulch comes close, but lacks several qualities that a live performance software should have./

soundblaster prob's

In the right lower part of your monitor, double-clicking on the volume control. Chek that the audio in in wich on you want to record is visible and activate. Now, it's possible that some programs needs, also for earing, that the record option (in the volume control) is active. Check this one.

Just rename mpga files to mp3 and use the regular mp3 -> wav progs to convert them.

Renaming does nothing...you can rename it file.mp3.wav.jjj.xyz and that does nothing to "convert" the file, renaming is not converting people.

look i have tried to rename it , however the mpga file is played in windows media player but i want to play it in music match jukebox as mp3 file , please suggest......

I tried this but my MP3 > WAV convertor wouldn't read the file. I tried to load it up in winamp but this wouldn't work either

Right click on the file name in windows explorer, click on "Rename" from the popup menu and change the file extension from .mpga to .mp3. For example, somemusicfile.mpga should be renamed to somemusicfile.mp3.

recording split tracks

I have several split track cd's and cassettes. How can I copy both tracks to both bands? That is: The left track has piano music only and the right track has full orchestra. How can I record both tracks on both sides so when I play stereo the piano and full orchestra come our of both the right and left speakers at the same time?

The simplest way would be to record them onto your computer and then make them a mono document. This can be done with any audio editor.

If it were my job to do, I would record them into a audio multritracker and actually mix the two tracks as I would two instruments. Maybe panning the piano slightly off center and centering the rest of the mix..

I'd follow Rimmer's suggestion and add to that a bit of
stereo eq to help it gell together a little more.

if ur 'sng' means .wav then u can use an mp3 converter
to convert to mp3
as far as midi is concerned, a wav-to-midi converter
is very difficult to make and is hugely under research.
still there r some softwares like 'AmazingMIDI' and
'intelliscore' which can convert single-instrument sound tracks to midi quite effectively.

I'm pretty sure that by sng he meant the ".sng" file format which is a n-Track Studio file.

record cd,on to your pc using media play for instant,
then open kazaa click at the top on my kazaa tab,on the toolbar at the top looking left to right you will see yellow folder with green arrow pointing down,click on it and choose folder list click on the + next to local disc (c)and put a tick in the box by my music folder this will enable kazaa to read this folder.and unticking will stop it reading.and thats it good luck

DON'T USE KAZAA IT SCREWS UP YOUR COMPUTER!!!!!
you might want to read the manual plus u didn't give me enough information to even tell you anything what type of computer do you have? whats the name of the program? you might want to ask someone who knows what they are doing and they can come to your house

You need some hardware called a CD Burner. You'll know if you have one or not. And then you'd need some CD Burning software. I use Nero, but you find heaps of CD Burning software <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/cat/CD_BURNERS/">here</a>.
