How can I convert my music to .mus format so I can add it to the music folder of my games so I can listen to them while playing?

:How do I convert my music to MP3 and MP3 to music?

: In Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, just replace the existing .mus file with a renamed MP3 file.

For Instance:
If a .mus file is named ace.mus, and you have an mp3 file named, test.mp3, rename test.mp3 to ace.mus, and replace the existing .mus file with the mp3 file that you renamed to ace.mus.

Depends on how complex the music is you want to convert. MUS format files are very simple (see http://www.teambg.com/iesdp/FilesFormats/MUSformat.htm for a description). If it's simple stuff, then it may be possible. If it's stuff off CDs, then forget it...

Those are really just WAV files (96k i think). Change the .MUS extension to WAV and play them....

not true, i've tried that. RAD Video Tools, the free version, will do the conversion supposedly. There are apparently 2 different types of files using the .mus extension - one older format akin to midi or .smus from amiga days and a newer format containing wave file information used mostly in video games. give the RAD Video Tools a try.
