yes it does, but that's where the problem is. An otherwise fine mp3 file will not be written to CD audio. the reason given is "wrong format"

i need some help about some software. I was wondering if anyone can tell me whats a good program for studio recording such as making my own beats and recording tracks. I dont know what to start off with. Can someone help me out.

Recording your own tracks is a little ambiguous. Audio? Midi?

Have a look at Logic Audio from Emagic or Cubase from Steinberg for audio/midi sequencers. There are a few versions to suit different size wallets. Check out Reason by the Propellerheads for an all in one synthy style studio program (not audio recording but sample playback).

problem downloading to streambox/ connection lost

I NEED HELP!

I am having problems downloading any realaudio file using stream box. I have see it work before and have a fairly good knolage of the procedure.....is the problem something to do with XP......

this is what I have been getting,

Receiving data
Index created
Connection lost
Retry idle 20 seconds
Attempt 2

If any one knows of any solution to is problem it would be much appreciated.

You haven't said what you play, if you play etc. So it's hard to give you an answer. I'll assume you know absolutely nothing. Try something like <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/SonicFoundryAcid/">ACID</a>, but you'll need to get your own loops and samples downloaded from other sites.
