Bass Player needed in Nashville!

My band and I are desperately seeking a bass player that lives in Nashville. We have a style similar to Ryan Adams, Counting Crows, Pete Yorn, Matchbox 20, Sheryl Crow, etc. We currently have 7 songs completed and need around 12 to start playing out. Question about condenser mic/home recording?

I want to record rap vocals from my computer. I have a computer mic and the sound isn't that great. I was wondering if a condenser mic is good (they're alittle pricey) and if not, if there are any other mics that I could use for computer recording.

A decent signal chain to a computer audio recorder for cheap would be.

1 x Studio Projects B1 or preferably B3.
1 x Pop shield
1 x M-Audio audio buddy mic preamp and DI.
1 x FMR RNC linked through the Audiobuddy.
1 x Half decent audio card as in an Echo Mia or M-Audio Audiophile 2496.

The difference in sound quality compared to your computer mic will be substantial..

Is this demo xp compatibale and what does it do.Is the software and the key history.

I am not very app literate so I wanted a keyboard type front end that I can manipulate the sounds. (make it play like a chinese instrument or harp) any ideas?

Mac AV driver error code -211 HELP!!!

I 've been working with Logic Audio for several years but recently i've bought a new PowerBook G4 Titanium and i have a problem:

Mac AV driver error code -211 !!!
Logic Audio Platinum 4.6.0
Mac Os X, Logic runs in 9 Classic and i want to use the internal Mac AV sound card, but it seems imposible

CAN ANYBODY HEPLS ME !!! Thanks a lot

So, your running Logic audio in Os9 classic mode in OSX? I wouldn't do that. I doubt that it would very reliable.

Boot into Os9 on the TiBook and run Logic from there or upgrade to Logic 5 for OSX...

Here is a few. Try typing in a SEARCH ENGINE "free harmonica tabs" .... Wish you guys lived near me in WV, I really would love to play along with someone. And NEW or old players, get a small AMP with reverb at a porn shop,,,$15-$40, and Microphone. You would not believe on how good you can really play. Electric is the only way. Hope I was helpful.

:Tabcrawler.com. Its for guitars but works for harmonicas to! ^_^

You probably need two types. One to record the audio input on your computer (after plugging the output of the cassette deck into it of course) and one to burn the CD. When I bought a CD burner, I got burning software with it which is Toast for MacOSX. I would have thought you would have got some also.

Check in this sites file download section. There is a ton of stuff in there for recording audio inputs on your computer.

HELP REQ - Recommending Free Sequencer Software

Can anyone give me some advice ?
I'm wanting to connect my Korg X5D to my PC ( Windows XP ) and looking for a Sequencer software package, ideally to download.

I'm new to this ( but a quick learner )

Any suggestions and tips ?

Go to Emagic's website. under the Education link, there is a free version of their software there that is quite good and easy to use.
