what you have to do is go to

http://www.newfreeware.com/audio/1583/

then just follow the onscreen instructions and that should work.

Didn't launch upon running the executable file. Player appears ok - is this a DOS based program?

I have a performance soon and need to turn a midi karaoke track into a cda to be plyed in a CD player.

Can this be done for free?

I'm going to ask the same question, as I have some midi files stored on my PC which I'd like to convert to cda files to burn onto a CD so I can play it in the car. I've seen loads of software to convert from cda to midi, but nothing to convert from midi to cda.

I'm wondering if there is a way.

The answer is yes and no. You have to make it a
.wav file first. The problem is midi is not digital. Explained at this link.

Windows media player can burn cds. Just add all your midi files to a play list and then click the copy to cd or device button on the side. It will burn your songs onto the cd in cda format.

However, I need help with converting cda to midi. If you can help me with this, please let me know

"I have a midi keyboard" isn't that helpful really. What type? is it a controller keyboard? can it make sound?

If it can make sound then I would make the midi file play the keyboard and then record the audio output from it into the computer.

More specific answer? more specific details on your system otherwise we are all wearing out out typing thumbs for nothing.. ;-)
