HOWEVER, I still cannot remove the damn icon from my taskbar, and it STILL tries to load on setup. Any ideas on how to get rid of it totally?

ok...go into run...msconfig...startup...and click off blubster...then run adaware se...along with avg by grisoft.com...then try to uninstall the blubter ad support in control panel...it worked for me, I hope it does the trick for you...

I regretintalling as well!! Did you find out how to delete, possibly in the registry??

which software for slowing down music?
All I want is a way to take any song change the speed at which it plays and burn that slowed down song onto a cd. I have a media player and a cd burner but no way to slow my songs or "screw" them as we call it down south. Also I use windows xp.

Try Amazing slow downer from Roni Music. It's a CD playerwith slowdown and pitch change functions. It works in realtime. Great program designed for musicians

You should try creative play center from creative sound labs use eax enviromental audio it has a thing called time scaling,it changes the speed of your mp3 without changing the pitch

Hummm, try goldwave(I use this, just change the pitch to a -80 and save), Cool Edit(a friend uses this to screw and chop, so it works), or Screw Lab(Screws and chop with a press of a button but the site is down, I'm also looking for this to chop). Hope that helped.

Which software and computer should I buy?
I hope you can help me: I need to know what kind of computer to buy, a Mac or a PC. I only know about Macs but to buy another one is expensive and I will only buy new, not refurbished. The software is a major problem: I need to start with something easy or not too involved, to get my feet wet. My recording engineer used Acid Pro on a PC and that seemed difficult but not out of reach for me. But like I said I could start on something easier if you say so. But what would I need if I got a PC? How much RAM, hard drive power, speakers, etc. would I need? Which cables and interfaces should I get? My music is of the soft rock/pop/alternative kind of vein. I own two keyboards: a Trition Pro and an older model of Yamaha (PSR) series. Please help me because I get too many conflicting theories out there.
Computer purchased!
I bought the computer I figure I'll need: a new iMac. Apple is coming out with a new recording software that is supposedly user friendly called Garage Band and I'm thinking of trying it. I saw it demonstrated on TechTv not long ago and I tried it myself at a computer store. Not bad, although it would have been nice to see a manual. I can't wait to see it in stores!

Hey! I really really really like this song...and i have no idea wat the heck its called and who sings it! i always hear it on Hot 89.9..anyways its like..rap and then the the chorus is slower and its like I never knew it could be like this"..the this other part its like" your very special"..something like that! anyways me n my friend ash love it and we would love to know the name..as soon as possible cuz we're having a party and we need the name!

I can't think of the artist of the song and I am not sure of what the song is called but I think it is called tell you. trouble recording fruity loops using cubase sx
ive been trying to record the drum pattern ive created in fruity loops 3.something using midi with cubase sx. im using fruity loops as a VSTi and i can get it to play my loop while i record other midi tracks, likewise it plays back my loop when i play my recorded events.
however i cant get it to record the pattern as midi events on the seqeuncer track. can anyone help? is it even possible to do this?
any tips would be wonderfull thanks.

: If you using SonicStage to do conversion from Audio CD to OMG file. You can upgrade SonicStage to version 2.2 and that version you can export to MP3 Disk.

Multi track recorder that i can add midi to??
Does anyone know a program that has multi track recording but i can also mix it with a midi backing track??? Preferably the most popular one?? I want to make a amateur demo with me, my computer, my guitar and a mic???

almost no sound on fruity 4.1
The recent FL studio 4.1 cannot display sound in most of its instruments. But some actually does work. What went wrong?? How can I fix it so I can hear the sound of those that don’t work when I’m composing?

I have an SW1000XG sound card and I mainly use Sonar for everything. I also have xg edit 95 installed on my machine. I want to be able to play guitar and bass through the on-board effects of the sound card in such a way as I can hear the effects real-time as I play but record the actual guitar peice dry into Sonar and then route it back through the sw1000xg effects afterwards. It is my understanding that this can be achieved using xg edit but I have spent many hours on this and I have still not been able to set it up so that I can use the sound cards on-board effects. Does anybody know how this can be achieved. Can I do it through Sonar? Help!!!!!!!!

I use Cakewalk (haven't got Sonar), but all you have to do is use WAVE#1IN as the source to record the dry signal from the analog input. If you use WAVE#2IN you'll record the effects (and any midi synth output).
