In most cd burning applications, you can designate split points within a long audio track. You can also do this within any audio editor manually.
Just select the portion of the audio track to make track 1, CUT, and PASTE AS A NEW TRACK. Repeat the process until you've got all your tracks seperated - of course, you'll need a cd burning application that supports disc-at-once burning, but most of them do.

Cubase VST 5 question
Hello,
After some time I realized a function in my version of Cubase is missing. There is an instrument setup when you want to input information about a patch. In this dialogue you can click on "patch source" and then there's a popup menu. Normally you can choose "patchname scripts" from this menu, only at my version this option is missing. Does anyone know how to solve this? Once I read a suggestion to uninstall Norton Antivirus, I tried that but it didn't help.
Any suggestion is appreciated!

Drag and Drop Drummer Lite
I have the drag and drop drummer lite, which came with my Johnson J-Station. (which is awesome by the way)
How do i get the drum patterns to just "Click" into position when dragging and dropping. It seems that you have to do it manually, which is pretty hard to do.
Can i just let the sampler run for like 8 measures while recording it onto the guitar trax that came with it.
Plus i find it tough to get the whole tune to start at a perticular location (say second measure of something)
whatever help you can gicve will be appreciated.
Re: Drag and Drop Drummer Lite
I think th is program is pretty cool also. I have some other questions but I might be able to help with yours.
Open up a new file in guitar trax go to the edit view and right click the grid button(under the tracks menu) you can select how the DDL sample is placed in the track(whole note, quarter, half, eigth). If you select whole it will place the sample at the begining of each measure. Just drag it from the window and place it on a track. It will do the rest for you. The sample might not look like it lines up right with the quarter note hashes in the time bar but it does.
After you have done this if you want to loop it for recording click on the sample to highlight it in the track you just placed it in. On the right of the screen find the loop section. Under the word loop there are 2 buttons the first is in the second is out. Press the second button and you have created a loop. Just hit the space bar to test it, select a different track, plug in and record. I'm not a pro but I think this will work. If it doesn't and I confused you farther thats why I'm a home musician not serious.
Happy recording
