CDG Karaoke on my PC

..u need microstudio..get a free demo at mtu.com..i have full program and it works really good..u can also back up ur disks with it...

Try LD Player (discs.txt), freeware, availiable here: http://webclub.kcom.ne.jp/ma/takabin/eng/

It will play CD+G directly from your RAW 96 drives (burner or CDrom), and it does not have to be a Plextor!

It seems to work better than tryannosoft's WinCDG Pro or Mimic.

vocal recording problem between audigy and vst4

after enabling audio track on vst4, microphone vocal signal is distorted and has a multiple echo effect. No effects are on. Can U help please.
Buffer size has been reduced to 512.

kazaa, supposedly the greatest file sharing software on the planet, is absolute crap. full of people who do not let you download off them, so consequently you dont let them, or anyone else, download off you. tis carries on until 90% of the peple using the bloody thing dont share there fles, or just cancel the fuckers as soon as they have started. the system fails because of petty bastards who refuse to give up a small portion of there bandwidth for anyone else. wouldnt it be far better for everyone, if they all shared there files with everyone else, and gave them a reasonable ammount of bandwidth. afterall, why should anyone let you download off them if you dont allow them to download your files. FOR FUCKS SAKE, IF YOU HAVE KAZAA OR ANY OTHER FILE SHARER LET OTHERS UPLOAD YOUR FILES INSTEAD OF BEING A COCK. if anyone else desires a p2p where 99% of the users share with everyone else, download SOULSEEK from www.slsk.org. although it temporerily breaks down it kicks the shit into the more popular likes of kazaa and winmx. so get soulseek and if yo have kazaa etc STOP BEING SUCH A FUCKING BUNCH OF WANKERS!!!

I would say hierarchy would be torrents, followed by edonkey/emule, and last the gnutella newtworks...

File Extension & Full Type Name

2. Are they compressed or not?
3. What about their quality (high, low, etc)
4. Purpose & description of each

WAV = CD quality. Very Large uncompressed file.
(eg 40/50mb for 1 song)

MIDI = is DATA not Audio, so there is no quality issue so to speak. Notes and or control informatiion is stored in this format.

RA = I'm assuming this is a Real Audio stream, which is usually of poor quality.. and used from streaming Audio with REAL PLAYER s/w.

MP3 = Is NEAR CD quality, usuall created by compressing a WAV file....
This can obviously depend on how much compression is used. An average song would be 3/4MB
More compression = lesser quality.

AIFF = (I Think) this is the MAC equivilant of WAV.
(You might need to check that out)

SND = ???? Sorry not familiar with this one

Fruity Loops Mixman dm2 VST Plug-ins...

Anyone know if the the Mixman dm2 (Cubase VST plug-in) transfers as VST plug-in when using fruity loops 3.0+ , since VST plug-ins import into fruity loops? Only asking since I saw a refrence to using the dm2 with Rebirth in a similar fashion.

Might be a shot in the dark but wondering if anyone else had already possible troubleshot this... or had any clue. It be appreciated.

If you're talking about the actual VST plugin that mixman makes, I don't see why it wouldn't work with Fruityloops, because it is a VST like any other VST. As far as that piece of software's compatibility wit DM2, on the other hand, I'm not sure, and would appreciate knowing. If you want to be able to trigger tracks in Fruityloops with the DM2, I don't think that is possible, but with Fruity's new "Live Mode" a midi keyboard will do effectively the same thing, but with your own loops, instead of the pre-packaged stuff that the DM2 comes with.

hi could anyone help me? I am making a website for uni coursework on a friends band. We have their CD and want to put tracks from it onto the site. We have been told they will have to be converted to MP3 format first. Is anyone able to explain how this is done. I would be very grateful for the help. Thanks

You'll need to rip the tracks off the CD and convert them to MP3 - at 128kbps. If you're totally new to this, I recommend you download a program that makes it easy for you to produce the MP3s. <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/MusicMatch/">MusicMatch</a> is great for beginners. <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Cdex/">CDex</a> is a better program but is probably better suited to experienced MP3 people.
