Got the same problem. The RMJ format is a dead end with the only return to burn it and rerecord it.
My idea is to burn it to a virtual drive, but not found a workable solution yet.

RealOne Player6 or more will play rmj files,from there you should be able to convert with same player for burning...

to all of you out thier isis easy get windows media player and it has a convter in but the only way you can use the conveter is if you play the cd throught windows media play then slecte copy cd. after that security warnings tellyou that you cant sell blah blah blah comes up slect convert the file to whatever its the second option and after that put it onto your mp3 player or whatever it works great, need more instructions email me

Novice recording questions

I'm new to digital recording and I'm about to purchase Propellerhead's Reason software for my PC. The question is this: Beyond using a midi keyboard, what's the best way to record my actual bass and guitar noodlings? Will I need a midi converter? Any help is appreciated....

If you want to music in MIDI form, there are some decent wav to MIDI converters that work for single instruments.

If you just want to record it then go with a multitrack hard disk recording setup.

If you want bass and guitar sounds in your final product, don't even try to go to MIDI. Real instruments, especially strings, are not very well represented by MIDI.

I need to find out if there is any software that can convert large quantaties of Wav files to Rex i have Recycle but it takes a while to load all wav files in and then edit and save as Rex, I aslo have quite a few audio sample CDs which are Audio only can i convert these to Rex / Wav ??

Error

I burned a CD and at the end I get an error that says "could not perform end or disc at once. burned at 8X speed. Was it too fast?

Where is the close quote? I'm going to guess after the word once, but it still sounds like broken English to me.

if your drive is rated at 8x or better, and the media is from a reliable source and is rated 8x or better, and you were not using your computer for anything else at the time of burn (including background operations) I would say that it is probably not the speed.

CD writers, especially the IDE or PCI ones, require almost all the bus bandwidth your motherboard can support.

Try another CD at a slower speed. They are cheep these days.

I am tying to burn CD's. I am using Nero 6, burning at 4x well under time limitations of the Disc using TDK CD's and I get the message 'could not perform end of disc-at-once. My systme is Windows 2000 and I do not have Roxio on my computer. Anyone with any suggestions ?

How to delete part of a track?

I have not been able to delete part of a track. I first insert a wave file then I select the track I want to delete from. then I select the bars I want to delete, then I go to edit-delete. and nothing happens. I have looked at the help section and followed their steps at least 10 times, with no help. Help me out please.

DVD drivers

I have a PC that is supposed to allow DVD playing but when I attempt to load the programme that came with it I get the message "ATI video player will only work with display drivers version 3.0 or later. What do I need to do to download a suitable driver for the ATI DVD Player Setup to work???

Recording DVD audio tracks

downloading and burning cd+g's

i have burner capable of burning cdg's, using clone cd am able to copy my cdg's i now want to progress to downloading and burning cdg's (as cheaply as possible, hopefully for free) have searched the net and i am confused any help gratefully recieved. also in plain english please do not understand technical details!

I have purchased a new sound card and i cant record audio from any sources while in cubase. i can do it with the souncards own recording inter face but not in cubase. I can hear the audio while playing it but when it builds the image of the wave no sound has been registerd. I have checked the audio sstem setup and appears to be ok. also i have aiso configuration and everything apears to be ok, even before recording i check wether the desired port is highlighted or not.
Please i know right now i dont sound desperate but i can assure that i am help me
