hello i am in a band and trying to record our self with no such look . can you help we are a 5 peace rock n roll band have a mixer desk every thing gos though the mixer evern the drums i am trying it with minnidisc but when we did it only come out on 1 side any i dears cheers kev

MIDI Problems

I'm having problems using my keyboard Yamaha PSR530 with my MPC 2000xl my problem is when i use the MIDI and play a tune it records but I does not come out of the speakers that I have my MPC hooked up to just the speakers on the keyboard when I went to a friend of mine house we hooked it up to his keyboard it did fine but we came here it did not work what should I do

make sure you have the MIDI out enabled on your keyboard.

How cubase vst v3.553 work in XP?

I have the cubase VST v3.553 and it says that i need to have in my pc the win 95 and i have the xp it is possible to get some cracks or drivers to work...? I can't install it... I really need the win 95?

Wav making program compatible with WindowsXP

I'm looking for a wav making program that's compatable with Windows XP. One that I can make Wavs from my CD's. I'm assuming I need to record the MP3 from my CD and convert over to Wav format. Does anyone know of a decent program, and if so, are there any out there free of charge, or a nominal fee?

Don't go to MP3 first. you loose quality. Just rip right to WAV. I like CDEX.

I'm assuming that what you're trying to do is extract tracks from a commercial CD (one that plays in a normal CD player). If so, the tracks aren't in MP3 format, but WAV format with added info (what appear as .CDA files on an audio CD when viewed with Windows Explorer).

To take tracks from a CD and save them in WAV format, try the likes of CDex (www.cdex.n3.net). It's free, and should work with XP.

As far as I know they didn't make one for an OS higher than 98. Let me know if you've found one, I could use it. Thanks.

No new drivers are at the midiman site, unfortunately.

I have another issue... may be you can help?
I need the install disks for the Midiman Dman 2044 sound card for Win98. The midiman.com and m-audio.com sites only have updated drivers for d/l, not the original diskette files, which contain the Dman 2044 Control Panel (on the Utility disk) and original driver install files. Can anyone help out a musician in need? Thanks.

Thanks the dman 2044 as the dman pci are built around the crystal sound chips.this means that the drivers are written in dos,and m-audio has gone to a different chip set.no new driver will be written,so all i can suggest is for you to use 98 or get a delta series card.............and as for the driver disk for 98...yes i have mine still
