Go to this site: http://www.fileplanet.com/files/120000/124665.shtml and download the utility. You should be able to turn the files into .wavs
Re: GTA Vice City Original Soundtrack Ripping
Hi Corrado
it can be done - the files are the same format as the GTA3 music. You need a pc with a dvd-rom drive, and a program called MFAudio by muzzleflash (search with Google or something). Install MFAudio and open the .vb file on the Vice City disc you want. You need to change the settings for it to play properly - try 32000Hz and 2000 Interleave, click Play to listen and check it sounds right. Then (for playing with Media Player, or writing to CD) in the output file section change it to uncompressed PCM wav format, 44100Hz. Choose a filename to save it as. Process the file. It should make you a .wav file you can listen to. Beware, the files are about an hour long and very big! Hope this helps.

Re: GTA Vice City Original Soundtrack Ripping
Try something like MagicSofts Sound Capture. This records anything fed through the soound card. If you set this to record, then launch GTA, you should be able to get the result you're after.
If this doesn't work, then you'll probably stuffed, as I suspect the .vb files don't actually contain "music", but data telling the main program what sounds to play (a bit like a MIDI file), but I could be wrong (it has been known).

It's a PS2 game so I doubt he can play them through his cound card.
