you could put the songs (if .wavs) into an audio editor and boost or cut each songs volume level with a few selections then save and export the altered result. If mp3 then you will need an audio editor which works with this format to do the same process. Look in www.sonicspot.com under 'audio editors' - Sampled is a great one which might not do mp3.

Rerouting Mp3's to parallel port

I need a way (help or program) to reroute the digital music stream from say WINAMP to a pin on the parallel port instead of the soundcard.
The idea being: a home-made digital music out from your computer ,totally noise free!

Strange request Cornelis!

Your soundcard actually processes your audio and to reroute you would probablly need to actually alter the physical stucture of the card! I'd advise against this as there may be all sorts of voltage surge problems to say the least!

The output from the cards line out should actually be virtually noise free already unless the card is very poor quality? If so no amount of rerouting will improve signal to noise ratio as the problem would be integral. Maybe you can try updating your souncard drivers (from card manufacturers web site) to improve sound quality. You could also fit a new card (if not integrated) also check your volume out setting is at max.

Help!
I'm at total midi virgin.
I have my Yamaha DJX linked from midi in and out to my Compaq PC via a cable to the joystick port. Local is set to off, on the keyboard. Keyboard 'out' is set to on. Midi thru is checked in cubase. No sound when I play the keyboard.The Compaq has a standard sound blaster factory installed sound card. There are 3 options to choose on the output column of Cubase in the arrangement window 1. SB audio PCI 128 midi sy. 2. SB audio PCI 128 midi ou. 3. MROS. I've tried picking each but still no good. I can however get sound from the computers speakers but I imagine the signal should be sent back to the DJX which has internal speakers.

try kazza u will have to down load it on to ur comp but it is simple enough to use one downloaded,jus type in the =song u want to download and it shoul d it foryou.

Connection Of MQX-32 midi adapter cable

If it's a Macintosh then you may have a Firewire port or two built in. Do you have a firewire input??? This will connect directly from the camera to the computer. iMovie will capture the video and it's free. It will also control the transport of the camera from the computer.

If you have a PC then you will need a Firewire PCI card to capture digital video. I don't think they are that expensive although you will have to pruchase some video software that can address the Firewire input. It may come with the firewire card if your lucky.

AAArrrggggHHH! I want to uninstall Easy Cd deluxe but the *%#@* program won't let me! I've tried to find the uninstall but there is none. I'm using windows 98 and tried to use add/remove hardware and it doesn't display the program! Do i have to do this manually? This has not worked for me in the past.

Do it the hard way and delete all files on your harddisk, but...... download system mechanic and use this tool to delete all the carbidge that has left on your computer. It works very good, even cleans your registry, good luck!!!

do a searce for the Easy Cd ... then remove all existing files.
go to start- find- files and folders
at where it says named-- type in "Easy Cd Creator"
wut eva comes up. delete them all.

Try using the uninstaller that comes with the program. You'll find it on: Start>programs>Adaptec easyCD Creator 4>Uninstall

I love fruity loops as a loop creater, n-tracks as a multitracker and sound forge as a wave editor.

I can't get MIDI to work with n-tracks and I want more instruments to use for other applications. I create my own samples, but I would like more instruments.
