Nova Station Driver

I installed a Nova station driver in my system to enhance my awe64 8mb soundcard for use with my midikeyboard and when i use this driver as instead of the usual it has a delayed reaction time from pressing the note to when the sound is produced .
Any ideas why?

The driver has a delay on it, to help with compatability. You can decrease this delay to zero in the control panel of the yamaha xg driver.

What's a good Mac notation program?

I have a Powermac 7300/180. I write small group fusion and R&B, mostly instrumental, and some songs with lyrics. I'm looking for a program that will let me create scores easily, maybe through my MIDI keyboard or using a MIDI guitar pickup, or if it's easy enough, using the mouse and computer keyboard. I then want to have the program extract the individual parts from the score. Changing keys, and inserting a measure here or there should be easy, and the output from my printer should look professional. Most of all, I want to get something that won't take me months to learn. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

WAV to home stero CD

You can use something like Adaptec Easy Cd Creator, or many other bits of software. You then need to create a Audio CD with the program, using the *.wav files as your source. The prog will convert them automatically.

As for using CDRW disc`s, I have had no luck with this. I can make an audio CD on a CDRW disc and then get it to play audio on my creative CD drive, but my Hi-Fi cd player will not play it. As far as I know this is becasue there are actually many many different standards of CD`s. Audio CD, Data CD, CDR, CDRW etc etc. And from what I have read the whold affair is pretty hit and miss at the moment, becasue many Hi-Fi CD players were made when CDR and CDRW were not popular public options. I would guess that if you went for a top brand, new model CD player it MAY play CDRW`s, but you would have to check that out.

If anyone ones knows different to this please post it up here, this is just my best guess

Well, from what I've heard, you can't listen to CDR or CDRW on a regular audio CD player because regular CD players can't play .WAV files. Right now, I'm looking for a .WAV to .CDA converter, to see if that works because some people have told me that's what I need. But I'm not really sure. So if you know where I can find a .WAV to .CDA converter, or if you have any other ideas why it won't work (because I've tried it numerous times), PLEASE e-mail me! Thanks

No SOUND in midi device on media player

I reformatted my harddrive last week. After doing that I could hear midi files in Windows but was not able to hear midi's on my website or any other sites on the web, such as BlueMountain. I downloaded MSIE 4.0 and all the components and now I can't hear midis in Windows95 or on the web. All other sounds play just fine, but not the midis. I uninstalled the media player that was upgraded when I downloaded MSIE 4.0 and reinstalled the components from my WIN95 CD. Still no midi sounds. I went through the Windows troubleshooter, but nothing has helped. I have exhausted all the resources I know so I hope someone can please HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!

i have a roland sequencer and i want to hook up a Y_CABLE on it.. Where do i hook it up ..It has a midi plug saying in and out and where i hook it up to my P.C. it has 2 plugs ..One i beleive hooks up in the joystick plug on my p.c..
BUT WHEN I HOOK IT UP THIS WAY.. AND I PLAY A SONG FROM MY SEQUENCER IT DOSEN'T PLAY IN MY COMPUTER.. WHERE DO I CONFIGURE IT TO HEAR THE SOND COMING IN MY COMPUTER FROM THE SEQUENCER.. IN OTHER WORDS I'M TRYING TO SEND A MT120 ROLAND FORMAT TO MY COMPUTER AND SAVE THE MT120 FILE... PLEASE HELP ME CONFIGURE THIS PROBLEM.. THANK YOU

converting audio cassette

I am trying to burn a four track cassette onto C.D. Can anybody tell me a good programme for boosting frequencies etc.Simple sound is very limited. Is there a programme that records from sound in with a level indicator?

ive been making and recording mp3's for a couple of years and have never found the need to download anything we have only used nero,adaptec,winoncd. 2 mention a few.if u cant then there must be a small prob .?????????????

it look great, but one problem occured to me.
the sofware never recognised my cd writer.
the cd driver file is messy and required update
from the net, i did and stil never work
anybody knows why ?

Hi...I just finished recording one of my old LPs to CD and it turned out great! I used Adaptec CD Creator Deluxe's Spin Doctor to do the actual recording. It has a pretty good pop and hiss reducing filter. You have to experiment with the settings depending on your original LP quality. I copied all the music to my HD. Adaptec's program set me back about 70.00 bucks but it has many other features besides LP recording. I used the software that came with my CD-RW drive to actully burn it onto CD.

Encore 3.0 problem

I have a Encore 3.0 music software. Recently I upgraded my computer to a Pantium III, I am not able to use my Encore files created on my older computer with my new computer. However I am able to create mew files with the program. Is there a patch that will allow me to use my old files with my new computer?.
