is there a way to burn audio onto cd-rw for playing in a home stereo

I have been unable to find a software program to meet my needs. Most are way too complicated and sophisticated. I don't read notation or tab so all I need is a program that will permit me to type in lyrics and to place above the lyrics guitar chord diagrams. But I would like a program that permitted me to choose not just open position chords, but diagrams of chords anywhere on the fretboard. Is there such a program??? Surely I'm not the only one who would welcome such a tool as it would permit us amateurs a means to construct our own song sheets. Thanks. Doc

I have just released my first CD: "Wandering Tree" which is an electronica / new age CD featuring "The Human Being" recently ranked # 1 New Age song on MP3.com 2 weeks running. The sales of this CD, despite having just been released 4 months ago without any support, have been wonderful, to say the least. I really, however, want to take this into your scope of sales. I will be releasing 2 more CD's towards the end of January which are receiving much anticipation. All I ask of you, is the opportunity of having you listen to this CD "Wandering Tree", and evaluate my potential as one of your talents. At 24 years old I am an audio engineer of 5 years with a degree from Full Sail, and have been a musician for 15. My love is sound design, and so, I incorporate atmospheres and musical panoramic effects. My direction is to become "the next generation of New Age music". Blending in rhythm, atmosphere, synths, and acoustics. Although "Wandering Tree" is strictly an instrumental CD, "The Indigo Moon" ( to be released Jan. 2000) will incorporate acoustic guitar, a flautist, and possibly vocals in the genre of "Dead Can Dance". Does anybody know how to pull an audio track of a standard cd-rom (no scsi) & convert it into a .wav file. I've tried it w/ sound forge, it creates a file, but no waveform (just a little click). Any tricks or help would be appreciated.

I would like to use my standard computer keyboard to play inividual WAV files (short MIDI sounds also OK if WAVs don't work) by hitting different keys or zones. For example, the "L" would play a SHORT crash sound, the "H" would be a baby crying, etc. I have heard of a few shareware stuff out there, but have not found anything. I only need it once a year for Halloween. Thanks in advance for any help.

Could someone please tell me how to convert mp3's to waves so that I can burn music onto cd's; is there software needed to do this besides Adaptec?

I just bought Finale to write classical dance music. What's the best way to output them live with good orchestral sounds? Can I load orchestral sample CDs into my computer and just hook up a sound card and some speakers, or do I need an external controller?

I am just looking for software that will allow me to record music ffrom my cd drive to a file for insertion in programs. Do you have something like this?

Hello I am trying to convert MIDI files made with cakewalk to MOD files--I am trying this with MODPLUG TRACKER by opening a MIDI file---------hitting the change button---------selecting MOD format-----------then I try to play the new and nothing happens??????

Fromthis point , how much further do I have to go to get this new file to work??? Should the new file still play the original MIDI sounds---or can I get the new file to play samples

I would like to download the version for Windows 3.1. but I have had no success after numerous attempts.The link to the download doesn't seem to be working.My platform is Windows 98- is this the problem? I need the version for another computer that isn't linked to the net.

My problbem is that there are different music formats and I have CD Creator Deluxe and Spin Dr. but that program does not recognize other formats. What I am looking for is a program which will convert to .wav or other usable and visable formats so I can creat my own play lists and cd's. Any ideas or the names of any programs I might check out? Let me know Please.
