you already have one in windows....if your trying to compress large wavs to Mpeg layer3 use your sound recorder program in windows. just load the file to the program. then select file then properties. click convert now..then in the format window select Mpeg layer3..the your bit rate. for aol wavs use MPEG Layer-3 32 kBit/s, 22,050 Hz, Mono. this format will make large uncompressed wavs the size of mp3's :D

There are many good notation programs, José, that will allow you to create, play, edit
and print your scores to sheet music. Which operating system are you running?

I belive I have the solution that will make this work.

I know it seem like its hard but trust me its not and it works really well. first you need to connect your speakers jack to your mic in jack so that all the sound that you used to listen to now goes into back into the computer through the mic jack(you may need a 20cent wire for this WOW big expense). then you open your default media rack (come with all computers) and make sure that the wave file recoreder is showing you'll need that. then open up your mediaplayer that can play m3u's no click on the media rack and on the wave player part hit the record button then quickly go to the mediaplayer and play the m3u file.after every song stop and save the file in the mediarack.(the mediarack will usally not play and kind of compresed music. mine play only wav cda and mid/midi.) you wont here the musici but it records that is why you have to keep track of how far the song has gone. also this may add some time to the song (my point is So the F*&^ give a f%$# atleast its on a cd now). Once you have the wav's you can burn to cd then rip to mp3's and get rid of the

: i have files that i saved as .m3u they won't play on winamp unless they're .mp3 i heard there is free software to convert the m3u files to mp3 files, but all i seem to find is converting to and from .wav. any suggestions what i can do to convert m3u to mp3?
