convert sibelius files to audio files

I've forgotten the process to convert sibelius files to audio files using Quicktime pro. Any help? The result is pretty good although sometimes the tempo changes. Thanks Tony

LPs to CDs

I am looking for fairly simple Mac software that will record LPs so that I can convert to CDs. I do have something but it is very labor intensive as you have to select each tune and create a file in order to make tracks. Is there such a thing as software that will sense the pause between tunes and automatically make a separate file?

Preparing Clean Loops

I'm trying to create a one minute piece of music that can loop infinitely. I can get it to loop seamlessly in Pro Tools (my audio application), but it clicks when I check the loop in Quicktime. I've tried all the usual fixes (setting the start and end points so that the waveforms match, setting quick imperceptible fades at the start and end, etc) with no luck.

Does anyone know how to prepare a clean loop in this situation? And why does Pro Tools play back the loop perfectly, but other applications click? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You have to download to your PC first. Then burn onto disc. You will need a CD burner and burning software.

I am having massive trouble with Steinberg VoiceMachine. I am having trouble harmonizing the vocal track. When I use VoiceMachine, all I get is a huge buzzing sound over the vocals. Is there someone that can help me figure out what I am doing wrong. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank You.

I am a 14 year old girl coming up for 15 very soon, I am looking to find a decent recording deal on behalf of becoming the next big thing.
I am very talented when it comes to writing my own lyrics and I love entertaining others around me, I don't see this as a dream as I am very ambitious to get myself up and out,
I would like to sing solo even though I have been in a band and I can play the elctric guitar, my band were never too serious and only saw it as fun, it was fun but I like to get things done.

Effects on Roland vs-1680 & programm to store song data on norm

I'm having a little trouble with getting the effects to burn onto the audio cd that I'm creating. I'm a complete novice in this world of technology! Do I really have to record the material with the effects on,with that INS button thing, or is it possible to record without effects & put them on later so that after track bouncing they still come through onto the audio disc that you burn?
The next problem I have is that my hard drive is full & I need to burn data discs. The problem is that I don't trust my burner enough to just wipe my hard drive after the process is over, & I can't retrieve the data to check that it's on the disc because my drive is full!!! Very frustrating! Is there a computer program for a pc where I can store the song data from the data disc & see that I have it in a retrievable form on my pc before I scrub the hard drive.
I look forward to & am very grateful for any answers I recieve, hope to hear from someone soon.

I am going to purchase a PC Intel 2,8 Ghz, 1 Ghz RAM with a SB Audigy. I already worked on SB Platinum and it was Ok for my hobbistic needengs. In bundle Audigy gives the Cubasis 4.0 VST.
Besides, would like to improve the system with the software “Kontakt sampler” and “Vokator” both produced by Native Instruments. Is there anybody so kind to reply is this software compatible with the system? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

Originally, it did not do this, but now, whenever I listen to the converted .sib files the tempo is way faster than the original. I even saved it with a set tempo and everything. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Yes, but the result is the same. The music ends up being faster. Usually I use windows media player and so do all of my friends and the music turns out faster on their computers as well. Before, I had tried setting the .sib file to a much slower tempo so that when I played it on windows media it would be faster but at my correct speed (does that make sense?). Now, that doesn't seem to work anymore. Any other suggestions?

The problem is you can't set the speed of the midi. It always plays it at 100 mm

If it was an audio file, I would say you have a sample rate mismatch. I have never seen or heard of this happening with a midi file however.

If I were you, I would try loading the midi file into something like Quicktime. See if it plays fast. If it does, then there is some issue with exporting the file from Sibelius. If not, then there is an issue with one of the midi file players you are using.

To be honest, I wouldn't know where else to look. If you ever come to the bottom of the problem, email me and let me know what it was. I'll ask some people on your behalf...

Hey, no worries, found what the problem was. It's because sibelius runs on a default speed of 100. Thus, to make the music slower on MIDI, you'd have to insert a metronome mark at the beginning of the piece.

Kinda of crap though don't you think? It should save a file at the tempo you are using..
