Vocomber VSTi version sound examples

Here're some sound examples of the VSTi version of Vocomber. It is driven by a stereo white noise generator at this point (no oscillators). It is capable of rather impressive horn/violin 'emulations'. Well judge for yourself:

pcdj red cue position help?

I can not figure out how to set the cue position in pjdc red from the keyboard shortcuts. Evry time i think i have it it just won't work. (sometimes it works, but once i change the track and start over something goes wrong) Can anyone please write it down step by step for me on how i do it?

I'm about to wreck my pc over this, i get so frustrated.

Start the track in a player (F2 - Player A, F6 - Player B)
Hit the start when you get to the point where you want to cue (F2 or F6) the track will stutter.
Advance the track forwards (F4/F8) then backwards (F3/F7) to get the cue just right. You must go each direction at least once.
Stop the track (F1/F5)
thats it.
move to a different cue point - 2 Player A / 7 Player B or 1 Player A / 6 Player B (NOT the NUMBER KEYPAD!!!)

You could just use an audio editor such as <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Audacity/">audacity</a>. There are also a few inexpensive <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/cgi/htdig/htsearch.cgi?config=htdig&restrict=%2Fsmm%2Fprograms%2F&exclude=&method=and&format=builtin-long&words=vinyl">vinyl 'ripping'</a> programs you might want to try.

Hie guys, I'm in a bit of a fix and I need your help. I've got a couple of rmj music files that play in real one player. I'd like to convert them to mp3's but I haven't been able to find the right software. HELP please!!!

Hiya, the only way I have found to do it is to upgrade RealOne realplayer and use it to convert the .rmj files to mp3. You have to give some payment details but provided you quit the upgrade trial within 14 days you don`t pay anything. Hope that helps.

8 track to cd or computer

You'll have to give people more information on the equipment you have. What 8 track tape? reel to reel? What audio card do you have on your computer.

There is simply no easy way to step anyone through anything technical without knowing the hardware involved.

Sorry for that:
I just have a stereo with a 8 track in it
that has rca plugs in the back, on Auxilirary or the
microphone plugs up front left and right side speaker
I have a HP computer with integrated sound, but have
external speakers, I can use a head mic for dictating
to word, so I should be able to use a audio cable to
the line in to record from. I'm not into real big
audio stuff as you can tell. Please Help. I have all
these 8 track tapes I would like to record to the H.D.
and then convert to mp3, and burn to cd.

OKay. It sounds like all you need to do is connect the 8 tracks 2 track outputs (not amplified as in speaker outputs) to the audio input on your computer and then head over to the file area on this website and dig around for some recording software (Audio Recording) to record the audio input on your computer to an audio file that can be burnt to a CD (i.e. .Wav/.Aif)

There is an application called "Dreaming of Brazil" that will work with Windows XP and the RIO PMP300.

Adding tracks to large mp3 file

I have got 1 large mp3 file that is a DJ mix. Does anyone know a program that I can add stops when I burn it to a CD. So that instead of having 1 hour long track I can have 15 throughout the CD.

Use Nero (5.5.x.x, should work under nero 6.x but havent it ) ) after having done the drag and drop in cd audio under nero , right clik on the track and make propreties. After a time of calculation, just click "new index" at the time place you want ; then burn.

I am having problems of playing ".cda" files on my players. Even 'winamp 3' is not able to play ".cda" files. Do you suppose it could be due to their recording in 32x and my drive playing on 52x? Help selecting software for Mac OS X

Sir or Madam,

I am currently running an iBook G3, with 640 MB of RAM and a 20 GB HD, using OS X.2.6.

I got a Griffen iMic, and am interested in an inexpensive, simple program to transfer audio cassette and vinyl recordings to digital format. I have a number of tapes and records that are not commercially available, and some field recordings I made as much as 30 years ago, that I need to transfer to digital.

I also need a program (preferably the same one) that will enable me to record live music directly into my computer for teaching purposes. The quality needn't be super-high.

I am not a sound engineer, nor do I wish to become one. All your ads seem to be written for people already well-versed in those areas.

Can you assist me in finding a program that will function to acceptable levels?

On a budget (you should try and provide your budget) I would buy Peak 4 LE from Bias. I think it's around $99. Simple to use, some decent features and it runs beautifully in OSX..

How are you converting midi to OTT? the pc composer can Open mid and OTT but not generate OTT.
I´m looking for a way to convert a mid to ott, if you can help me with this it would be of great help.
