1.go on track mixer.
2.click on global view.
3.scroll along mixer untill you find output 1-2 and then click the little button which says bnce (bounce)this will then play your track and record it to a wave file at the same time.

Sounds like you're trying to copy cd tracks. In order to copy CD tracks, they have to be first converted to WAVE or AIFF. This is done automatically by some newer programs, but it's generally called "ripping". You have to "rip" before you can "burn". If you just try to copy CD tracks, you will just be copying the CD track markers, which are about 1K in size. CD track markers just tell the software where to look on the disk for the beginning of each song. They aren't like normal files which actually contain data and aren't just "pointers" to data.

Your problem is most likely related to this. Similarly, playlist files are usually very small, like 1K or so. Playlists are CD track markers also, but have more than one entry, and are designed to be known as playback song sequence lists. Make sure you aren't just creating playlists.

Last but not least, "burnlists" and "riplists" are just like playlists, but are used to create a
sequence of which songs will be either burned or ripped. Since these are their own file formats, they can be saved. They don't contain much information, so they are also about 1K in size. To turn a riplist or burnlist into an actual CD, you have to search a little harder through the menus and buttons for the actual "rip" or "burn" commands. These might be called extraction and rendering, or importing/exporting. It all depends on the software.

But for sure, you can't just do "SAVE" or "COPY" and expect any of these kinds of files to become audio files or a new CD. Many burning programs have an additional pre-burning format which is the creation of one data "image" file which is easier for software to convert to a CD than from various files directly. Using this pre-burn file, you can create a big chunk of data which can't be edited any more, but is ready to burn and can be saved to disk or drive and stored. This is useful on systems that are a little too slow to do all the ripping/collecting/burning steps in one stroke.

If you want to become a singer, all you gotta do is sing.
If you want to become a famous performer, called a "singer", then that is different.

Music means less and less in the music industry.
If you want fame, study to become a model. I'm totally serious.
Looks are what people are selling on MTV, in Rolling Stone, Spin, etc.

When people get signed to a record label, they are usually forced to give up their old producer, so it's not even about hooking up with a good producer anymore.
Hang out with people who can provide you with no strings attached and good backing tracks. If that means that you have to do it yourself, that's ok. However, you'll waste less time if you just focus on looking pretty, finding new and creative ways to flirt, and you should study marketing.
As things go along, you should hang out with actors and filmmakers and radio people--anybody who could help you if you ever wanted to make a public announcement or appearance. Overall, modelling will teach you more about this kind of thing than this site will, and you'll be ready when the record label comes talent casting. Oh, yeah, and you better keep struggling to become a better singer. If you can't actually sing yet, read and practice, and hang out with good composers. If you don't know any, flirt with guys in bands until they let you become the lead singer. that will begin your education in singing.
