Roland W30 song files to Cubase

Is there software to convert Roland W30 song files and sound files into Cubase files or WAV files. Don't have access to W30 no more so would like to resurect some old tunes if poss.

you basically mean a vsti host?
there are many programs around with vsti compatability. do u just want to use a vsti standalone?? if so i don't think there is anything for that job. there are a few freeware vsti hosts though. check this great site-

tracktor "native instruments" (bass middle and trebel)
you got to put the bass to the minimum the mid to the mid and the treb to the max and the invert for the beat
(pcdj red hasn't got a good bass treb adjustment)
(evenly, i think it got not)

Only type "mp3 normalizer" in the Yahoo search window and you ll get different freewares to do that. I ve been just downloading them so I cannot tell you which one works better

There's a freeware program called mp3Trim which can adjust the volume of MP3s directly without decoding them.
http://www.logiccell.com/~mp3trim/
However, the free version has a 7 Meg file size limit. Which actually isn't bad if you don't have lots of huge files. There's also a set of four command line utilities called mpxutil which will do the same thing.

Not as useful if you're not use to command line programs, but it has no file size limit.

no audio in cubase for mac

I've got cubase for the mac but i can't get any audio coming out. I've got an audiowerk 2 sound card installed which works fine with other programs but just not with cubase. Can anyone help me please??

I'm no expert but I'll tell you what I know.
Do you need a ASIO driver for your sound card. It should go in the ASIO folder in your Cubase folder. There's ASIO 123 respectively depending on your card and which version of cubase. Also did you find the the audio system setup panel in the in options category of Cubase and select your card . Finally do you need to change your apple sound control panel to your card or maybe set it to sound manager to interface with your card, the latter option I think limits you to stereo in and stereo out. Maybe you already knew this or maybe I helped good luck.

2 WAVs simultaneously s/w ??

My creative vibra 128 can play 2 wav files simultaneously in winXP but no it winME. Anyone know of any kind of loopback program or mixer s/w or something that will let me do that. I mean any 2 wav sources, like a game and winamp.

First thing is to connect the record deck to the PC. The best way is to connect the record deck to an amplifier, then connect the TAPE OUT on the amplifier to the LINE IN on the PC's sound card. You can't connect the record deck directly to the soundcard.

Then, you need some software to record the sounds, save them in WAV format, and another piece of software to burn the sounds onto a CD. If you have a look in the software section, you'll find plenty of stuff that'll do the trick.

In order to burn karaoke CDs you will need to have
karaoke versions of the songs on your computer or
on another CD to begin with. You will find heaps of
software such as Nero in our <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/cat/CD_BURNERS/" target="_top">CD BURNER</a> area which
can burn your CDs.

If you don't already have karaoke versions of the
songs then another solution is to get MIDI files of
the songs you want and convert them to WAV files
(this process is known as Rendering). You will find

Make your own karaoke from normal CDs

Jason is right but you can add this. If you have a MP3 or audio CD and you want to make it into a karaoke then get http://goldwave.com for a PC or Sound Studio http://www.felttip.com for the Mac. Heres how to as sent by Luscius of Felttip.
1. Select all of one channel by moving the pointer to the bottom quarter of
the main waveform view and double-clicking.
2. Select Filters->Invert to invert the phase of that channel.
3. Select Audio->Resample and select the 'Mono' option, then press OK to
start resampling.
You will then have a mono audio file with the center stereo image removed.

PS some tracks have the lead vocal panned or effects like echo are panned to one side and some of the vocal will remain in this case.

Play J is no longer available because the company
that licensed all the free music closed down that
part of their business - unfortunately they were
not able to get advertisers to pay enough money to
cover the costs of the operation.

If you look in the software section, you'll find a lot of format conversion programs. The size of the MP3 depends on the encoding rate, normally 128kbps. Most use the same encoding engines, so there won't be a vast difference between them.

Hopefully you already found an answer, but I discovered that simply removing that *.temp extension using WS_FTP fixed the problem. Use WS_FTP as a file manager.

Sound analyzer needed. Which one do I use?

Example: I'm in a noisy room with 20 people and a tape recorder. Now what I want to do is to be able to isolate each person's voice (or sound) from the crowd, enhance it and listen to it. I doubt very much you'll find a free or shareware program to do this. What you're trying to do is localise a particular position in the stereo image and remove everything not in that particular position. If someone else happens to be standing in front or behind them, you'll end up with them as well.

You can get the serial number by paying for it. You can obviously afford a PC and an internet service, so why can't you spend a bit more of your hard-earned cash instead of ripping them off? If everyone stole serial numbers, there'd be no software around, becasue no one would be bothered to write it knowing that nobody would pay to use it.
