operating system for mpc 2000

i need the operating system (boot disk) for this mpc i hav when i turn it on it says version 1.0 i dont know if i can use another version of it ,my floppy drive doesnt work ive been told u can use a zip drive/zip disk to boot up instead is this true lemme know thx a mil $$$$$4
