Does anyone have any idea what happened to CuteMX. The GlobalSCAPE site has no mention of it whatsoever. I had it installed on my system before it crashed. When I finally found the disc I copied the program onto and reinstalled it, I couldn't connect. I kept saying I had to update, yet it couldn't. I just want to know if anyone has any info on the state of CuteMX, or if I should just give up my quest and wish for the good ol' Cute days.
If you have any info at all, please let me know.

I have a SB AWE64 Value ISA card. And was wondering. Is
there a way, with this card, I can record some game tunes. Say like Tiberian sun, I was trying. Some CD's let me play them from the the CD. As I really like just
putting the CD inn. Especially after work, before doing anything else. Opening Jet audio, and listening to some tunes. I know, during the game, I can press Ctrl and Esc key to get back to win. Perhaps I can press a record button or something, then go back to the game. Be much appreciated for your help.
Me hard disk space is ok, 10gb free space.
PIII 550/384mb ram.

Hey everyone,

I've been using Adaptec's Easy CD Creator for over a year now, and there are some major problem's like to get around. They are:

1) When burning a CD, even one that has greater than a 74 minute capacity, i can't even burn the full 74 minutes. (This might be for registration information on the 74 minute disc, but this makes no sense for 80 minute discs.)
2) Even when burning as Disc-At-Once, which eliminates the 2-second gap between traks, there's a split second gap between tracks (which is noticable when you have to tracks that morph into one another without any silence between).
3) When making an enhanced disc (with section 1 as audio and section 2 as data), there's no way to eliminate the 2-second gap.

In order for this to happen, though, i think i need new softwear. Is there any out there that doesn't have these problems?

Is there anyone out there who can give me information about setting and configuring my PC to record music successfully. I am running Windows 98 on a 700mg, 128mg ram, 30gb hardrive, using Cakewalk Express 8 software, Recording on a Korg i4S Interactive Workstation or Yamaha PSR 6000 Keyboard. If I attempt to record from either setup the sound is so 'muddy' I despair. It just seems such a waste of time and I am unable to find anyone who can give me a clue as to whether it's the soundcard that isn't up to the job or the system settings need to be set differently. All I want to do is play the music, get the mix right and record to the CD-R.

Im looking at cutting large mp3 files (dj mixes) but I'm looking to burn. Does anyone know of a software that would allow me to cut the file so that I can fit it onto a cd.

I have the box clicked in preferences for .avi files but I still can't view .avi files! How can I view .AVI FILES?!?!?!?! Please help...

I would like software that allows - ideally - drag and drop recording of MP3s to Audio CD. and automation of the conversion to .wav buitl into the software. Doies anybody know of any thing like this and where I could get it? All replies appreciated.

I'm running a PIII 600 with a DELTA 1010 and Cubase 5.0 r3. MIDIMAN PORTMAN does not seem to work with CUBASE 5.0 over the parrallel port, causes crashes. However the MIDI port on the 1010 seems to work ok. Meanwhile the PORTMAN works ok outside of CUBASE, i.e on FruityLoops. Anyone else had this? How did you work around, or what multi-midi card works best with Cubase 5.0?
I suspect that the protection dongle is interferring somehow - so what do you use?????????

I have a collection of vinyl records that I want to burn to CD's. Does anyone know of an easy-to-use recording software that will allow me to remove scratches, hisses etc. automatically? I have so far tried CDSpinDoctor, which is easy to use and comes bundled with Toast, but the interface is fairly primitive and full of glitches. On the other hand, I _don't_ need a full-fledged sound application (such as Amadeus, which I found too advanced for my purpose). Any reply will be appreciated.
