I need to know this rap song...its kinda old.

Problem: My cd doesn't work. I tried it in my computer, a portable cd player, a boombox, and my xbox. Same results. Why does every cd I burn turn out to be crap? If you know, could you please e-mail me, or post on the forum listed?

Cool edit is a an audio editing tool.
For techno check out REBIRTH by Propellerheads...
it has 2 drum machines and 2 tb303 synths (classic techno sound)

likewise fruity (as mentioned by Geoff) is also worth checking out.

Converting Mac Audio files to PC Audio files for PRO TOOLS

Problem Recorded 2 songs on Digi001 Protools Sys on a mac now finishing on a Digi001 Protools sys on a PC but files won't work on the PC anyone know of a convertion tool or if the files need to be converted on the mac first...........Cheers

I had some audio parts from Logic on the Mac that needed converting for use on the PC.

It seems to be a problem with the byte order that different processors use (Motorola for the Mac - Intel for the PC)

One solution I found was to open them as raw data within Wavelab - which then gives you the option to choose which processor type was used. Once opened just save back as .wav

How do I get to listen what I'm playing. When I used a PC, i just plugged my guitar into it and I could hear it while i recorded.
Now, using a Mac, I can't hear it. Jus after recorded, but it's really togh to play without listening.

Help!

Cubase SX huh? Don't know it. You can do it though. Maybe you are missing something in the OSX Audio/Midi setup (which is in APPLICATIONS > UTILITIES).

Do you have a Audio card?

Logic audio has always been a bit of a pain to listen to audio inputs with previously recorded tracks but, older than SX versions of Cubase have always routed the tracks straight through (and through insert effects to). Check the manual properly... :)
