Mp3 not playing in mp3cd player.Encoding problem?

Please sombody help me. I'm having trouble burning Mp3's to cd it plays fine on my computer but not my cd mp3 player.All the files play except three or four of them. Either they are in slow motion or the player skips them. I have taken an audio book and used a mp3 splitter(Tried several different splitters) to break it into smaller pieces. I have tried Cdex to encode it at a smaller bitrate. I have tried different file sizes.The file was an audible file that I coverted to mp3 with Goldwave. I some times get a VBR message on my player.But I encoded the file with the Vbr option off. Any suggestion's?

I hope someone can help with a problem. With ballroom dancing music tempi needs to be adjusted to so many bars per minute according to the dance. i.e. a waltz is danced at 30 bpm. Many pre-recorded music is not at the required speed. Apparently with the Nero program it is possible to adjust the bars per minute, does anyone know how to do this.

Hi, there could be lots of reasons. First I cant find the exact details of your model (Creative Audigy MP3) sound card, pleses show us a URL with the details of this card. If it does not have a pro grade mic input and decent pre-amp the lower level signal provided by most commom pro mics like a SM58 will not be strong enough to drive the input to a sufficently noise free level.
Also having exactly the right connectors & leads to a domestic sound card is important.

Last of all sometimes the possition of your sound card relative to other sondcards can cause problems as an adjacent PCI Card can transfer interferance to your sound card in recording mode.

You need to give us more detail about exactly what and how you are doing things here.

I'm so frustrated, I don't even know how to begin.... i have a new ibook, and i would love to put some cool software on it, for recording and mixing,....also hooking up a mic... i have no idea where to begin...this is completely new... i would like to start out going the inexpensive route...then upgrading.... i feel like i am computer literate enough...so what do i guys???

my uncle gave me his old g3 ibook, and it had mac 9.2 so i try to install 10.1 but when it finish install it said that it was going to restart the computer. but when it was restarting it became still where the screen is all gray and it has the computer happy-face with a bunch of black labels saying that it can't find driver for this platform: "powerbook4,1"
then it has backtrace :0x0008c2f4 0x001f2204 0x001d4e4c 0x001d4c5c 0x001d56cc, at the end of the message it say's panic: we are hanging here...
please help, i've had it with this problem!

Try the demo of a program called Reason. It's a lot of fun even if it's not your thing.

If you want something for recording your voice through a mic, then I would dip a little deeper into your pocket and get something half decent to start with. A Studio Projects B1 is a steal.
Plug that it's a half decent mic preamp like an M-Audio, Audiobuddy and then into a Edirol UA series USB audio interface and you will have some seriously reasonable quality for not a lot of cash (relatively speaking..)

Have a look at ProTools FREE as well. A good starter package for audio and midi recording. And it's free

wer kann helfen, hatte einen Virus auf PC-musste alles platt machen...danach habe ich musicmatch wieder installiert,jetzt sagt er mir: wave format wird nicht unterstützt-Problem mit der MMJB Soundkarte...weiss nicht weiter und kann keine Musik hören :(((
