What is the best software to copy VCD's. Help!!
Hello everyone!!! I am trying to make copies of my
VCD's. Can anyone tell me which software is the best to use? I have Easy CD creator 5 on my P.C. Will that do the trick? Also, if the easy CD creator will work,
what is the best way to do it? Thanks for all of your help. Dale

Easy CD creator will do it. Just use the copy disc feature.
Hey, I hope you know that making copies of VCD's, software, or using cracks of any kind for that matter is illegal. Use the shareware on this site and if you decide to keep support the author.
The Micros#$% stuff for video uses a decompressor for called wmv1 that can't be found. If anyone knows where to find the decompressor for wmv1 please respond. Thanks.

U can convert them to vcd and watch them using a standard dvd player

thats the choice - I guess! I found it by following a posting of another guy on a vst plug in board. Its quite new, but I think it will become big. I have never seen something like this. It is mixing up all components of music B2B and has a big area for musicproduction. It seems like they want to have the professionals on it. very interesting. in the moment still low because itz new. but I've already bookmarked it.

Wav - Midi convertor
I want to add my favourite piece of music to my website and I have some problems:
-its format is .cda and when converted to .wav the file it is too big (a few MB), causing download problems on dial-up connections.
-I used the.mp3 format but on my computer (AMD k6-2; Yamaha Soundboard) I can hear nothing but noise, although a friend of mine could hear the music pretty well on his computer(Amd Athlon 1.3Gb, sound on board-AC'97).
-I tried to convert the .wav file into a .midi file using some software(AmazingMidi, Sound2Midi,intelliScore) but it didn't work well (I can only hear a piano, while the original file is a "house" piece).
Is there anything I can do? Anybody have any suggestions? Please, help. Excuse my Englis

Yes! you can convert Ram file to avi,mpeg format
with "EO VIDEO".
The problem is EO Video is shareware,
but you can use this soft as a converter
for 15 days.

Hi.
I need version 6 of this program "Samplitude Studio".
It's like over $1000 to buy. Can't afford that.

Samplitude is by far my favorite multitracker. Damn sweet program. I've been useing it since version 3. You might want to think about the "studio" version. It does all most as much, and is much less expencive.

Audio song wont record
HI, how come some audio songs have a red sign with a white dash in it indicating that the song cannot be downloaded? is something wrong with the song? is there a way around it? The good songs are mp3's which can be downloaded and the bad ones are also mp3's so i dont think its that. Thanks for yer time

About auto-emailing
I disagree. People need to take responsibility for their own requests. Furthermore, the internet is already too swamped with mass emailing. It is practically mass spamming. This extra computational and routing burden of emailing would make hitsquad slower to access, and is not necessary for those with enough patience.

So what you are saying is we shouldn't use auto-emailing to assist in curbing mass spamming and maintain internet speed? This seems totally nonsensical to me.
There are many many posters on these forums and the problem's are that people post and then don't come back for the replies. The percentage was very very high.
The recently installed emailing notification system here has assisted me and other contributors as well as the thread starters in making a connection with their posts. There is no need to try and remember where you posted a message and have to remember to check back periodically if case someone might have spent time composing a reply. People weren't doing it and therefore wasting peoples valuable time.
To some extent, I suspect that many of the thread starters are logically challenged and could do with some button pressing assistance from the website themselves. The time spent reading people asking for them to be emailed with replies (not uncommon even now) says everything to me about how much these people are aware of how things work, even if they are written in front of those noses. Default ON makes a load of sense to me as those type of people are abundant on this forum.. It would be doing them and us a favour.
Your comment that it's mass spamming is simple missing the issue and the question. I therefore say thanks for responding to the original post regarding the default email notification but personally, you will have exhibit more of an undertstanding of the issues here before I would take your comments seriously

That is the most curious reply I have had. It's a shame that it was as much designed to be insulting by mocking as it was to try and confuse a simple issue.
The type of person that generally has posted on this board in the last 2-3 years I have posted here has been of a certain type. Occasionally, there are good people that speak clearly and with respect to what is a free service. The others appear either newbies to the net or internet forums or people that don't speak reasonably understandable english.
If you look at the time and energy these people put into their questions and then didn't have the common sense to either bookmark the page and come back later for a reply, or come back for the reply and never post an ackowledgement to the person who replied, you will see that there was clearly a problem.
The email notification system works to some extent but I think the people that would benefit from having the notification defaulting to ON would outstrip the opposition. I seriously don't think a lot of people understand the benefits to clicking this handy little button to both the poster and the replier.
Why you feel it's important to take a personal issue with me on this is beyond belief. I use lots of other forums and haven't experienced spamming to my global forum account. There is some, but it's no problem. If you feel there is an issue with the forum using the notification system as a spamming advantage then talking to them first to confirm this and then coming to the forum and discussing it would be far more productive than mocking..
