As far as I know, the samples are royalty-free which means that you can use the samples in your songs without any hassles. You have to be careful with any other samples you use. I've had songs rejected from MP3.com because of 'copyright violation'.

u tried quartz audio master? it's free does 4 tracks
micro logic is really easy if midi sequencing is all u need.
also protools do a free one but a bit complicated
spend a little time with a sequencer and it will all be clear.

You might want to try Voyerta's Electronic Keyboards. Even though it says Electronic Keyboards, it's really just about totally paino based. It teaches the basics, with seperate rhythm and note lessons. It also allows you to turn on or off the note notations on the screen.

They build through about 8 or 9 lessons then teach a short movement (16 bars) of Ode to Joy, from there it goes to some folk songs.

You will need an electronic keyboard and a midi cable along with a sound card that has a midi jack on it to use the program. The cables run about $15.00 - $30.00 each. Since current electronic keyboards are running around $100.00, it's a pretty cheap "starter set for the average music student.

Do you mean original versions without the vocals? I think that's unlikely.. Why would bands like P-Floyd make a non vocal version of any of their songs?

You could more than likely find some covers done for the purpose of Karaoke but where you would get them from without commissioning them yourself is beyond me...

...The fact that people refer to Soundcards as a pose to Audio cards because they contain sound of their own that can be addressed by games and some music apps... Midi file players etc...

If you want a serious card for input and output, the simple Audio card is the solution.

Check out models by the popular M-Audio such as the Delta 44, 66 or the 1010.

I think generally you are better off with an Audio card with a decent computer than you are with a MD or tape based 4 track. The quality and editability is so much more there with the computer. I love external equipment lots too but would never trade the amount of tracks I can get and the amount of effects I can use for a 4 track cassette based (or MD) stand alone recorder.

....all CD burners are support in any one CD burning application.

Probably a matter of going to the site and checking the drive compatibility list. Sometimes there are patches for drives that need manual installs.
