If you are a fan of Roger Troutman and Zapp and you own a Korg X5D or X5Dr and a talkbox (Jim Dunlop, Electro Harmonix, Rocktron, etc.), I can give you (for free) Roger's signature talkbox sound. Just email mail me at grooveisfunky@earthlink.net for that talkbox patch program sound. Also included is the Korg X5D sound editor software program for reading the "ROGER" patch and AMP settings sheet. Plus 3 concerts, 1 interview and 2 television performances on VCDs.

Is this still possible?...
Will it work with a trinity (it uses the same synthesis i guess)if not i am still interrested in the Live performances...(and can always buy a x5d second hand if it really does the Troutman thang).
I use a E.H.Goldenthroat with a SH101 wich sounds nice but i can hardly pronounce anything with it.
Does anyone knows what kind of tube Roger used and how the hell he managed to say something like " I don't care what the people say, i am gonna love you anyway" so that everybody could understand it so easy?

Get a DX 100 or DX 27 and use the Larisyn patch. It is a stock patch on this synth. That is what Roger used. It will give you the exact same sound.

Hi,
I use a Rocktron Banshee with my Yamaha SY85 keyboard and I've come up with a pretty good Zapp-style sound. Is there any chance you could send me an audio clip of your Korg sound, just to compare the two and see if I can improve mine?

Oh, and I'm definitely interested in those VCDs. Could you give me some more details please?
