how do I download it?

I moaned about Limewire when I first used it on the mac although I realised that booting it up and then waiting about 10 minutes was a great move. I usually get a slow download although there are times where I will get 60-65k a second on my cable modem from some users. It's pot luck but still worth waiting around for the right connection.

Someone asked this recently and I only jumped in because nobody else has. I am not aware of any Fruityloops level apps for the mac although there is Phrazer (never used it) that comes from a good software house. You could look into DAW programs like Cubase or Logic as although they don't automatically match timing etc, they can properly support multi level Fx and audio interface routing as well as the ability to plug in soft synths like reason or the 'Amazing' mac only "Absynth".

There are many mp3 to wav converters (some of them are free), you must remember to use Disk At Once (see CD writer's options) when writing CDs to make sure the CD will work on any CD Player. I got an 9 year old CD player that plays every CD I burn (some CD players need special cleaning operation though)...

If you know your Bios, get there & try auto dma. The only sure way in windose is to get 2 cards of the same brand and be sure to seek help from the brand's site (do that first). Linux should be smoother with this kind of connection...

You need multi-channel soundcard & Cubase 32 or Cakewalk.
These are the minimum requirements for a decent recording.
