Cool Pro Slow with Win2K

I just got this system with Pentium III 1G, and 512 Megs of RAM, and Windows 2000, and my once perfect Cool Pro 1.2 doesn't run worth a damn now, especially in multitrack view. I have a SB Live! Value sound card, if that helps anyone. PLEASE! If anyone has any insight into this problem let me know!!!!

Speeding Up a Track

I need to speed up a track on a CD so that I can get kids to sing it. The "classic" version of this song is too slow, but its a great song. All I want to do is speed it up without distorting it too much.

How do I (a total neophyte) do this? Please e-mail me an answer. Thanks

I want to be able to eliminate the vocal track from pre-recorded music (e.g., from CD's, computer-downloaded music)in order to create a Karaoke-style CD on me CD burner. I have both a 'Santa Cruz Turtle Beach' soundcard and 'Sibelius' music-notation software, but have not figured out how to achieve my goal.

Any help would be appreciated,

Try out Anolog X Vocal Remover

It would be great if that sort of software were to be available. It would be very helpful to the Djs also but I think there arent such softwares. I tried out Anolog X Vocal Remover but it didnt work. Its a direct X plugin. Maybe you can use it.

Playing CDG and CDA on Computer?

Hi! Wonder if anyone out there can help me please? I've got a karaoke cd that I tried to play on my computer, but it said the tracks were CDA's and only played the audio through windows media, not the words. Is there computer software out there that will allow me to play CDG's and CDA's with the words?

Good News.... Micro studio does a great job playing Karaoke CD's on a PC. It's shareware and cost a few more dollars than I would have like but as it turns out, it's well worth the money. I've left a link so you can check it out!

CD ARCHITECT LAST UPDATE

I am looking for the last update of Sonic Foundry's CD Architect 4.0. The software is no longer listed as a supported product at Sonic Foundry's site. I recently upgraded to a Plextor SCSI 12/4/32 CD-RW and CD Architect identifies it as a SCSI but doesn't identify by model number. I am able to record but program freezes on playback. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm looking for the last update for Sonic Foundry's CD Architect 4.0? Sonic Foundry no longer lists it as a supported product. I upgraded to a Plextor SCSI CDRW 12/4/32 and CD Architect identifies it as a SCSI but doesn't assign the proper burn speeds and I have trouble on playback.
