Yes there is an upgrade to Music Time Deluxe that runs in Windows 98, 2000 and XP You can buy and download this program at www.gvox.com

Boy I can't help you there. I sort of remember that error in past PCs/software. I tend to reinstall software when things don't talk to each other. Goofy resolution that only sometimes works. Is there a MusicTime Deluxe hotline to help on stuff like this?

I have the same problem with the Anastasia font. I think you might fix it by reinstalling your software for your printer. My Musictime Deluxe worked fine until I got a new printer. Then I started getting that same message and couldn't open Musictime.

I'd like to know if you find a different solution to the problem!

Thanks for this solution it works. But there is another problem. When I try to write, a warning window appears that Music Time has caused a General Protection Fault Muzktime. exe. at 0009:807B. I began getting this problem when I started using Win XP.

How can I overcome this problem ?

Can't save in Soundforge 6

I import a file by ripping a CD into Soundforge 6. I then apply some effects, either Direct X or Soundforge's own collection, but when I try to save the file an error message appears saying that the programme is unable to save the file. I've re-installed the programme several times, but nothing seems to work. The file is recorded as a WAV file, so no problem there. My Soundcard is Audigy2. I have a 120G hard disc with 768Mbt of RAM, so there's plenty of room to play with. Any help on this problem would be much appreciated.

Adjusting total volume level from recording

I recorded with a band just last weekend and downloaded a trial version of sound forge 7.0 - The sound levels are great but when I ran the wav files in winamp along with other professional files that I have on my computer I noticed that there is a considerable difference in the volume of my files. My recordings are much softer than any other music files. The problem is that when I adjust the total volume in Sound Forge it clips the louder parts of the music and blurs the sound. How do I fix this problem?? I don't want people to have to turn their stereos up to listen to my music and then back down for everything else.

There are a variety of programs which can be used. Start exploring <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/win95/AUDIO_RESTORATION/">AUDIO RESTORATION</a>. Programs such as D/Noise 1.0d and Declick 2000 1.21 may be worth a look.

I have a Cakewalk program on a computer attached to a Roland HP-2, so I can record music and it notates the music for me, but I don't have a printer. Is there a way I can convert *.WRK or *.MID files to *.MUS so that I can print the sheet music from a computer that has Finale Notepad 2003 downloaded on it?

slow computer fixes

just a bit off topic (admin plz relocate to the right thread), but I read that some of you have a dogged computer. there are several common reasons why a computer might be slow. could be your virtual memory, your physical RAM, the amount of programs in your startup, (dont forget the RUN key in the registry. Use the MSCONFIG program to adjust those), fragmented hard disk.... I want to record - software reccomendations

I have a dell latitude d800 pc laptop running windows xp pro, 1 gig of ram, intel centrino processor.

I play keys (w/midi), guitar and bass and sing. I want to do some decent demos without a lot of hassle and learning. I understand analog recording very well. I would pretty much like to plug and play. I wouldn't mind software that will printout the music as well. Any reccomendations? Thanks.

I think it's by a band called LOUD. I got in on a HM (Hot Metal) compilation Cd sometime around 1990.
