So you're all dreaming to become a singer. Just like me. So if any of you are still trying to learn how, here's a few things you can do.
1. Practice singing all the time, every time you can. Learn to dance and act also if possible. Make all of showbiz your trade. Practice everything from facial expressions to dance moves to performing in general.

2. Write songs. Write lyrics, compose the music to go with it. Learn to play an instrument. A singer that can write songs is a talented singer. Don't be just a person that can sing.

3. Watch your physical appearance and your personality. Make people smile at you when they pass you on the street. Be eye-catching. Make yourself as praiseworthy as possible.

4. Make a demo kit. This usually includes a demo tape (a recording of about 3 of your songs, sung by you), a bio, pictures, the lyrics and sheet music of your songs. Send copies of your kit to producers, record studios, talent agents.

5. Join as many competitions as possible, especially big ones. Demand to be discovered, don't just sit there waiting and dreaming. Do something to get there.

6. When you are rejected, just smile and look up. Try again. Believe you can do it and take the necessary steps to make your dreams a reality. You cannot afford to have doubts. There will be time for that when you get there.

7. Become a singer because you want to, because it's your dream. Remember that you are a singer because you sing, not because you're rich and famous.
Dream you dreams then live them, okay? Just believe. It will be worth it when your reality is your dream.

i have a audio file contains song without music, i.e. only words speak my me.
i want to mix this file with sutable music which must me compose by your software. music of differrent musical instruments like pieno, tabla, dhokal,etc.

2 i want to convert a viedo song into audio only,( in wav or mp3 )
i have a software which can convert wav into mp3

Tempo and Time Signature Automation in Reason

I can't figure out how to automate time signature and tempo changes in Reason 2.5. I don't know if it is even possible. Has anyone figured out how to do this, or have I simply missed the instructions in the manual? Thanks.

bought a mini disc player several months ago that had your sofware in it, and without it my computer wont download music to its mini discs. any info on getting that little cd would help tremendously, going to iraq soon and would like to get new music before i ship out.

I'm a bit confused about what you mean about 'your software'. We don't own the software on the site. We merely link to it and present you with information on the prgrams.

It sounds like you want to take music from your PC and put it on your mini-disc. In that case, you probably need the correct drivers at the very least. You should first check with the mini disc player's manufacturer's website to see if there are any specific programs and/or updates you need to run on your PC.

Without knowing what product your using and what operation system you have, I can't be any more helpful than that, I'm afraid.

I have a good friend that is a producer and I know that he uses Fruity Loops along with with triton and phantom keyboards, any better suggestions as to get started!?!

u can use
the following:

=fruityloops(for midifiles)
=cubase(recording)
=reason propellerhead(its a [programm were you can see all kind of digital instruments like there excist i real life, you even have to coneect the cables between the devices, its more than then the best programm i know :D)

now the prices (dont cry)
=fruityloops(about:100to200 dollar)
=cubase(is 1500dollars and nope din't mistype the last 0)
=reason (comming close to cubase price)

also i use turntables, but thats is just to inproof my skill to find the main beat when i am mixing

qua turntables is the technics simpely the best :D
i got reloop its also great its from deutchland.

if you dont want to buy finyl records
you can use FINAL SCRATCH thats a divece that sends out electronic ccodes on a dummy record you can load up any wave or mp3 file from you pc up to the dummy record :D its very handy

BUT THE PRICE IS ALSO BIG $700 dollars + 2 dummy records makes a price of 750 dollar

now my school bel rings have to go the less again

hope you can use it if you didn't know already

I recently read about a software for Macs that allowed you to network a second computer to run plugins on thus allowing the main computer to save on CPU usesage. I failed to write down the name of the software and was hoping that you might know the name of it.

Cubase Dongle

I have been using Cubase SE (Studio Pack) for over a year with much success. I recently purchased a new computer and after installing Cubase I discovered it would not recognize the security dongle eg... it won't run on the new computer

Steinberg's web site was absolutely no help, nor was their Tech Support "hotline" (nearly an hour on hold).

By scouring the Internet I discovered that I might have to "refresh" the license on the dongle. The problem is, I can't find that tiny scrap of paper that came with the software and listed the license number.

Does anyone have any suggestions????

Hi, I have Fruity Loops 3. But its allways playing the same pattern and then it turns back to the beginnig and plays it again. Therefore I cant make any long songs. How can I add more patterns so that I can scroll to the right and are able to make complete songs? I have looked in the help menu but couldnt find anything. Please someone tell me how I can solve this problem!

Bear with me because this was a long time ago and I had a similar problem. You know where you sequence the patterns together? Well, the answer is in that window at the top of the screen as the bar scrolls horizontally.

But this is a rotten description. Try the FruityLoops.com forum for a far better answer.

recording device suggestions

I use Mac OS 10.3.5; have a 1.5GHz PowerBook; have lots of FireWire drives, etc. I want a portable recording solution for a single XLR-connected microhone that can capture an hour or more directly to AIFF.

I make meditation and relaxation CDs. I use a TASCAM DAT presently—but want to know if there is a better solution, workflow-wise, these days.

Problem with the TASCAM is that I must use an Mbox into Final Cut Pro to download the DAT recordings, via the Voice Over Tool—all a bit clumsy.

I'd like a device that can record directly onto hard drive, either its own or the PB's. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure what you mean by "I have a mic hook up".

Assuming that means you have a mic hooked up to your
cell phone then you simply plug the mic into the mic
input on your sound card and away you go.....
normally....

Please be aware that most countries around the world
have laws governing how phone conversations are to be
recorded.

At the very least you usually have to declare that
you are recording the conversation.

Here in Australia you have to have an audible 'pip'
every 15 seconds whilst recording.

You can't be safe with software from kazaa - <a href="http://www.fruityloops.com/">buy the Fruity Loops (now called FL Studio)</a> and save yourself the hassels of cracked software and you'll feel better when you stop stealing from other people.
