encore trouble in writing

im using encore for writing my score and i have trouble writing a triplet inside a triplet. i need to devide one note from the triplet to three ( another triplet )

Dumb Drummer Needs Sampling Help

I'm a drummer ignorant in the ways of electronics. I want sampling software that will allow me to create and trigger sequences from pads around my drum kit in a live setting. Any suggestions on appropriate software for this purpose? Thanks.

I would get something like a used Alesis D4 with some triggers. Any Midi sequencer will work with an D4 based concept.

I'm not a programmer myself, but if you are I encourage you to go see about getting involved in the development of the program because it's my favorite tracker. Being legally blind it's the only one that I've found that I can conveniently use since it has a standard windows interface.

Hi, everyone! I have Voyetra MusicWrite Songwriter Ed., and I just recently got a MIDI keyboard. I thought I'd be in business with writing music if all I had to do is play the keyboard, but now I'm having a big problem with it being WAY too accurate. I mean, if I lift off the keys for a split second a rest to the equivalent of a dotted 108th note appears there, and if I'm just that much off with the metronome, naturally, that screws up, too. I know that there HAS to be a way of doing this, because obviously no one can play to the nearest 108th of a note perfectly, no matter how fast or slow the metronome is set; do I have to change a setting, or what? Do you know anything about QUANTISE?

It sounds a little like you have a quantise function on where as it will automatically 'move' a recorded passage to a pre-defined position...

albumwrap problems

I have downloaded albumwrap and managed to unwrap one album. I tried on the second album and got a message that it was not a valid albumwrap archive file. I thought this was strange and so tried to unwrap the album I had already done. I got the same message again even though I had managed to unwrap it before.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

There are three possibilities:
1. The file isn't a true albumwrap file.
2. The free extractor written by the authors of albumwrap, can't handle some error in the compilation.
3. The file is too corrupt for any extractor, including the alba extractor, another free albumwrap extractor that is better at handling troublesome files.
So, before you throw the file away, or assume it falls under #1, try using alba extractor, availible at: http://sf.net/projects/alba
Also, if you need a good proggy for breaking up files of the #1 ilk that you just have to keep, try MP3 Surgeon.

Just take a small software - AwaveStudio, additionally you should have some softw. for right sound fonts or synth banks, if you have not any of them, don't worrie - try to get softsynth for appropriated keyboard (musical, I mean) either yamaha, or Korg and use it as out device on PC.
In a few minutes you will easily convert any midi to wav, with AwaveStudio - you can read ~240 kinds of sound files, and write them to ~120 kind of other sound files.

Ok, but you have to have it on PC as wav, just then you can burn it to CD with any software for burning.
If you are an guru in PC, then may be you can burn it in some other ways - I am not sure that would be possible to burn other way more easily as from wav.

If you are unsure - how to do that, then send a mail, will try to explain.

MP3 Playlist Order

Hi, wondering if anyone has an answer to my problem: I use MP3 files recorded onto CDs, as data files, to allow me to play 8 hours or so of music from my DVD player. This all works fine, apart from the playlist that I create on RealOne Player doesn't transfer exactly onto the CD. It nearly gets it right, playing perhaps 10 tracks from the start, then jumps half way through, plays a few, and then goes back to where it left off.
This may not sound too bad, but I use it in a bar, and playing the wrong music at the wrong time can change the atmosphere completely. Can anybody help me get the playlist correct? Thanks

I need to know if there is anyway that you can convert two music cds into one entire cd? Im trying to see if I can have both cds made into one whole cd instead of two separate ones?? Thanks

The only way you can do it is by compressing the original CDs using MP3/WMA/Ogg. However, this will mean that the CD can only be played in a PC or suitable compressed-audio capable CD/DVD player.
