If U R still having problems with your .avi files, try out this website-- http://tfo.57host.biz/codecfinder/index.htm
They might be able to help hook you up with the right codec. I'm not too sure how well it works because I just found it myself, but it looks way helpful!

Try downloading codecs for windows media player. Ur problem maybe for MPEG 4 compressed video.I tried once ad it worked

Please help, why am I getting fatal exception errors and infuriating crashes when I use reason and/or cubase v5 (suspect any audio apps). All hardware is thoroughly tested and functional(pentium4, gigabyte P4 titan533 845G motherboard, 40gig, 512 DDR, DSP2000 C-port (onboard AC97 audio Disabled) New DSP drivers downloaded.Compatability? Inconsistent ATX power? I'm losing my mind.

Reason is very stable and I've yet to see it crash by itself.....
Is it only happening while running it with Cubase ?

Sounds like you have plenty of RAM.
Are you using MIDI hardware ?
What Operating System are you using?

You might need to optimise your PC as much as you can.
(Get rid of unwanted and unnecessary things on startup.

The first thing I would advise you to do is to look at how much cash you have for the job. Work out what the primary use for the studio is (present and future) work out what sort of building you will need to construct it in and decided what location that building should be in.

im looking for advice on which make and model of laptop to use for home recording. i have mics running into a mixer(which would go direct into laptop via a single connection. Also the latest 'cubase' audio software.

FruityLoops External Exception Error

Okay, I've looked all over the internet, and no one else has seemed to have this problem with FruityLoops. I've reinstalled it many many times, but it still comes up.
I open it up and bam i get "External Exception C00000 D1" and it won't let me do anything, because it will keep popping up after every action I do. What is this problem? Is it fixable? Or has anyone even encountered it before? Please help! Email me.

you need to burn them in PADUS (PADUS.com)it's cheap and yuo can download it.
then download free with IMESH or KAZZA

MY DOWNLOADS MUST BE DONE ,THEN CONVERTED TO MP3, IS IT POSSIBLE?

You would have to download karaoke file's in CDG format. Which are a version of mp3's with lyrics.
I don't personally have any on my site as they are mp3's but I do have a large collection (2200+) karaoke files in .kar or .mid format.
