Can anyone help me out...Up til today my evolution midi keyboard was workin fine with Reason, Cubase etc, but all of a sudden there's no response from it. The LED screen is blank... I haven't touched the cable connecting it to the PC and I haven't fiddled with any MIDI drivers, etc..ANY SUGGESTIONS/SOLUTIONS?

GO inside the prefrences and make sure that you have the same midi settings as before. try using a diiferent output/input option. if you have asio support use that for sure. unplug the midi cable and replug it. make sure your cable interface is still tightly connected. have you tried all these things yet?

Looking for a music software solution

I'm trying to discover a M. software solution that will: take pre recorded sound, ie CDs, play them thru my computer
at much slower speeds without changeing their pitch.
I'm an amature musician, wanting to learn, by "breakingdown" and transcribing
rapidly played, complex musical riffs by hearing them clean, undistorted sound, at slower speeds.
I only have a home sound system and computer. This is not for commercial or reproduction use.

Tape to CD

Because RealPlayer is from the devil, I suggest not using it. Download windows media player classic and RealCodecs then you can play RealPlay files in windows media classic.

Nigel is correct: You cannot play them with WMP, however you can convert them... Do a search for “Streambox Ripper v 2.007 or Streambox v 2.009 the current version does not have this capability - This is and was a freely distributed program –

This was a freeby - it is still available if you look long enough or are diligent in your search…. Remember even your neighbor might have downloaded this program, ask him.

Because of the spyware or scumware in Real player, that is why it was developed, so Real Player did not need to be installed in your computer. It has is stated the spyware is not part of Real Player any longer. but always keep a updated copy of Ad_Aware running on your computer at startup to confirm this statement.

Song Writing Software

Can anyone give me some good insigt on an easy-to-use software for song writers? My 14 yr old grandaughter is writing, composing and singing her own music and I would love to find some type of software to help her to do these things.

rhymzone.com or dictionary.com.

Tip:
Don't think that you must finish a song in a couple of days, thake your time.

It depends on what level she's at and whether she can read notation. There are a lot of easy to use programs <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/cat/COMPUTER_AIDED_MUSIC/">here</a>. FruityLoops and ACID Xpress are worth a look. This problem is getting on my nerves. i need help. i recently subscribed for a music program and they sent me a mail telling me to reply back to them with a particular serial number u get only after u sebscribe. i got the serial number and hit compose on the Yahoo mail. the thing is the compose is appearing to be in 'Add Graphics' format and that small frame of HTML an where u can add graphics DOESN;T load! at all! i tried refreshing the bloody page and even made another account but in vain. Does anyone know how to get rid of the crap. i even tried to switching t to 'Plain version' but NOOOO!!!! It doesnt give! anyone having Yahoo mail accounts or went thru this problem and had it fixed..please please please please reply back on my email. please. im so desperately needing help. please.please.....
P.s. is it something to do with the cookie configuration ?

That's one for the webmaster here. Sometimes the files are hosted 'Off Site' (not uncommon) and the 'hoster' will go and move the file or change the page that the file is on...

Do some research as the file is probably available on the net somewhere else, or on the authors site.

I always try and tell the webmaster if a link is dead...

Just in case you're stuck trying to decide what is the best DJ software... 'TRAKTOR' from Native instruments/Steinberg gets my top rating. Believe you me I've tried the other software and this stands out.
These guys also make plug ins for the industry standard PRO TOOLS. Need I say any more?

I have the same problem. I cannot uninstall the Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum from the control panel, but I can't find any files in my computer. It says that I need the file ECDC5.Msi It's a huge problem for me. What can I do?
