I just purchased the Mixman Studio Pro for my B&W Mac G3 and it is sounds so cool. But, it is new for Macintosh and it keeps crashing and freezing. Has anyone purchased this yet and are you having problems too. I really needed it for and up and coming project and I wrote the company and I am still waiting for an answer. I know someone that has it for PC, and there is no problem. It is new to Mac users. HELP! Thank you sincerely yours,

Hi I have a MT400 Yamaha 4 track recorder, it's very limited in what it can do - I have recorded some stuff and then transferred to PC but the sound gets very blurred, particularly the voices and no matter how I try to equalize the sound I just can't seem to get it right. I was thinking of getting an 8 track and a CD recorder, but I'm reluctant to do so because if I can't get it right with the MT400 and a cassette I would probably be wasting my money, can anybody help.

I have just started to get into producing Hard House and Nu-NRG. I want to know how to get those agressive sweeps and hoover sounds. I know that the Juno 2 is quite good for this so if anyone knows of a softsynth of this I would be very happy to know. Also, does anyone know of anywhere where I can download NU-NRG and hard house samples cuz I cant seem to find any anywhere. Also, what other synths are usful for producing Nu-NRG. Please oh please let me know!!!

I am looking for software that will permit me to (1) enter lyrics to a song; (2) above the lyrics, that will permit me to place guitar chord diagrams (but not just open chords -- chords from the entire neck; and (3) that once chords have been selected, will permit easy transposition to another key. Is this too much to ask for, or are others there aware of such programs?? I have seen the following software program titles thru "Music Software" but when I tried to download one of the programs, it was all gobbly-gook. Thus, if there's a program out there that will perform the three above functions, I'm happy to pay for a hard version of it. The programs I saw were: Chord Transposer version 1.0 for Windows 95/98; SongWriter 2.0 for Windows 95/98; WinCarp Studio 1.0 for Windows 95/98; and ChordPro Manager 3.51 for Windows 95. OK, is there anyone out there that really knows their stuff that can help me?????? Thanks, Doc

When I burn a cd from napster files the origianl turns out
perfect. If i try to make a copy from the original, the
copy is scratchy and has static in it. I use Adeptic and

I'm an acoustic musician trying to put some music clips on my new web site. The music is saved in aiff files on an iMac and they're short but huge. I'm guessing that the best way to remedy this is to convert it to mp3 then upload it. Could someone walk me through this? Don't even know where to start.

I would be grateful if someone could advise me on the software etc required to record vinyl records onto CD's. I have a large collection of vinyl. They take up a large amount of space and I would like to place them onto CD. I have a cd writer (nero burning rom) and a new pc which I am sure will be adequate for most software.
Is it possible to plug a record deck into the pc and transfer to enable burning to cd?

I downloaded the evaluation copy in order to decide if I wanted the registered version. All I can get it to do is tell me "folder empty, load song into home folder". How do you know what or where the "home" folder is? There are no folders listed as "home" folders. Any comments?

I'm a vocalist who wants to record tracks from my minidisk player into my computer - possibly remix or change pitch, and then create a new playlist and record it back to minidisk. I have to search through several tracks to find the tunes I prefer to do. I want to select certain tracks to make a minidisk full of the material that I prefer to do only.

I downloaded the metronm.exe and would now like to delete it. How do I delete it. when I try I get an error message saying access denied, cannot be deleted.

I need help. Somehow my pad got flipped around and the fret got changed, the fret goes up to high to where all the sounds are the same. I need an answer to how I fix this problem. I would restart the hole thing but I already have too many beats on it and don't have anywhere to dump them into. Please help!!!

Looking for something like Transfer Station 2.2; my version does not seem to work! Has anyone had the same problems with transfer station? want to move my EMU CD ROMS, and my own samples on the EMU over to AIFF for Mac.

I am told you may be able to help us. We have a Evolution Music Wizard Software and we have read the instructions and we would like to print what we made on the computer. But when we have been using the computer they is nothing to support printing which is one of the reasons we bought the package so we could compose music and print it.
