Hi Peter,

You probably need to connect the turntable to a stereo amp first. Then you need to take the RCA stereo output from the amp and connect it to the line-input on your computer sound card via an 1/8" miniplug. You'll then need some audio recording software to record and save your data as a WAV file. Then the WAV file needs to be converted to MP3. There are some programs that do this process directly. Take a look at www.musicmatch.com. That may do the trick.

It really depends on the complexity of the song. I use the playlist, but when I'm really looking to do stuff I also use ACID.

Kelvin, what file format are you playing? CDs, MP3...?

Hi Mate.
the best thing for doing audio cd is clean the cds first and if you have goldwave alway add the 2 seconds at the beginning and end of the wavs.

ever i record mp3s to wav format and then burn them to cd, i hear this scratching noise on some tracks. I use music match and was wondering what could cause this? when bands recored in a studio and put out a record there is no scratching...etc. I tried to use noise reduction programs, but they did not work at all. So basically im wondering if there is a program that can do what i want, remove that stupid noise, or if there is something better then music match to get clearer sounding wav files. Also, would getting a program that converts mp3s to wav and puts them on a cd automatically be better then converting mp3 to wav then burning them onto a cd player via, a program such as easy cd creator.
