Yeah... download winamp (www.winamp.com) and then under properties change the output from "wave" or whatever it is to "diskwrite"

Well unlike what the last person said, CD Audio does "sort of" have a format. It's RAW format. Most CD Burner software programs save RAW or even WAV files on the CD which then turns it into CD Audio files. But how do you convert MP3s to WAV or RAW data, well then let's just presume you have Winampv1.9. (This is the only way I know of converting mp3 to wav) Load the file you want converted and goto preferences. The input tab should be selected. Double click on the mp2/mp3 decoder (probably nullsoft) and click on the output tag. change the output device from wave mapper to (.wav file output) This will now save the loaded mp3 file as WAV ready for recording onto a CD!
