OSX doesn't use OMS. The person who wrote OMS now works for Apple.

i NEED to know what program i need to take pre recorded music (direct recording from the output of a drum machine) so that i can put it in my computer, convert it to mp3 or similar file type, so that i can email it or burn it to 3.5 disc HELP PLEASE!!!!

I love to sing and friends and Family say I am great! I sing contry and a little bit of spiritul at church. I love preforming on stage it is a blast to show off my stuff in front of a croud. I search online and ask friends, but I steel don't know how can I get my music listened to and possibly get a recording deal?

Want some honesty? Friends and family will always tell you you're great. Get out there and start performing, read some books on the industry and make contacts. Learn as you go.

I am such a good singer! I write so many lyrics too! I perform at church, Talent Shows, and I'm in the choir also! I sing so many solos at my school. I always go on-line to see what I can do about my voice. And I take singing lessons to improve my vocals. I need to know how and where can I get a record deal! How did Britney Spears get one?! and all the other famous singers??? I need to know!

All the time I am told I am good and when I preform people I don't know tell me I am good, and i have heard myself sing and I think it is good and not just because it is myself!

If you think you're good, then you have to put your money where your mouth (or voice) is. To get anywhere in the music business, you need professional demos, and that means getting into a studio and recording some tracks. If you're a singer, that's more difficult because you'll need session players for backing.

So, if you still think you have what it takes, then get a demo CD done and send it off to a few record companies. They'll tell you how good you REALLY are.

I'm using Cubasis and WaveLab Lite to record and edit my music and layer tracks, but i'm not happy with the results and would like a better program. I need a program that allows me to edit the samples that i record through my USB microphone. Cheers, Tony

Converting Cubasis to mp3 / wav

I've recorded four audio tracks and mixed them using Cubasis for lack of a better program, and have saved the cubasis file. However, I'd like to have the file as mp3 to be able to burn to CD. As the cubasis file does not actually contain the four samples in itself and reads them from another source, how can i contain it all into one mp3 or wav file? Regards, Tony

I have Cool Edit 2000. I know it was bought out by Adobe and now is hard to get technical support. I had to uninstall it and now it won't reinstall. WOn't let me put in my registration number. Seems the ce2kreg.exe got erased. Does anyone know where or how to retrieve this file so I can get my Cool Edit back? Any info would be appreciated

lp to cd

Hi I have got a phillips cd burner seperate Audio (not pc) and I can record a lp but it doesn't reconise it on my cd player, do I need a convertor and if so what, how and where

First, have a look at the CD on Windows Explorer and see what files are present. You should see CDA file(s) depending on how many tracks are present.

Second, does it play on a PC using Windows Media Player?

Finally, do other CD-Rs play on your CD player? It may not be compatible with CD-Rs.
