Fostex DMT 8

I'm looking for possibility for upgrade hard disk
into the Fostex DMT 8 recorder.
Is it possible? I have capacity 540 MB only.
How is possible to upgrade the software in EPROM?
I'm looking for also Owner's Manual for this unit

I bought another HD for my old VS880 some years ago. It was a 2.5 laptop drive.

The only issue is that the oldest VS880 only formats in 1gig partitions so the 2 gig drive I put in it has to address the 1gig partitions seperately. Bit of a pain.

Check the size of partitions that the DMT8 will address. It's not essential but it's worth knowing.

Best thing. Phone Fostex technical support and ask them. The technicians are the best people to speak to as they generally don't want to sell you anything personally and are more inclined to pass on the information that will benefit you best..
