felt tip sound studio works great for that and also has some other great filters. I got it at this site.

There are editors for MP3s, or you can convert it to WAV first. Cool Edit will
allow you to cut WAV files, and I'm sure there are others that handle MP3
directly. Have a look in the software section.

You can use any application of course, but do not need to sit in front of deck for completing for whole and do the same process for all MDs.Offer you to get "LP Recorder" software. What it does? simply you can record whole MD into one big file and it automatically dedects where the track ends and begings so split the big file (whole MD i mean) into small files(tracks i mean). Great :P

There isn't any software specifically for recording from MD to PC. Any of the
sound recorders will work (Cool Edit etc.)

I'm looking for a prog that can let me make my own songs..like beats and what not..and some good mixing software for songs I already have and just want to mix together.. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Fruity Loops is the software i use for creating beats,loops etc. And Bpm Studio for creating remixes.

A good, fast, easy and cheep mixing media files program is dss dj 5.1, and you can get it at MYxoft.com, just download it, pretty simple shit. but its good for what its worth, it has bpm counter, effects, two channels, scratch abilities and filter, check it out man.

midi sync

my objective is to send time sync from a sequencer program to be received by another program, in windows 98. i tried midi yoke and it doesn't seem to work for me. i have a game port-to-midi cable and a serial port midi interface, but no success in combining the two, so far. has anyone ever succeded in this particular operation??

I have downloaded some songs that only come in Windows Media Audio format. I would like to put them on CD, but I am not sure if they can be converted to WAV, mp3, or mp2 format. I Have MusicMatch Jukebox put that is no help. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so Much.

If it was me, I would go to my computer and search wma files. It might take some time to put in names but do it anyway, it will be ezer in the long run. (By the way this is mostly for asx files, I had the same problem.) If your burner doesn't allow you to burn wma files download something to convert it into mp3 files. That's what I did. If that doesn't work I don't know what to do. Good luck!

Most sequencers offer some sort of tempo mapping feature. It's not too hard to create one and then select a point where the tempo increases and decreases. It's a matter of reading the manual for the program or just booting it, locating the tempo map and then fiddling with the options.

This can be done with 'audio' as well using any time stretching program that gives you a little more control, like HyperPrism.

Thanx for the help. Unfortunaetly the mp3 discs I creat still don't work on my Goodmans player. I spoke to Goodmans and they say I'm creating discs the correct way. Also I used the same procedure and software on a friend's computer and they worked fine on my Goodmans player.

Incidentily I have recently purchased a MP3DC disc made by Blaze which enables Dreamcast consoles to play MP3 audio files and the disc I make work fine on that!

All of which leads me to believe that there must be something wrong with either my set up or my computer.

Any one got any ideas.

Settings for Nero:

*iso9660 (beware juliet file system)
*finalize session (of course for reading in portable mp3-player)
*no multisession (click if you do not want to add more files later and may be need if your portable mp3-player can't read multisession cds)
*close cd (:))

I don't know if it's the same, but my Kenwood in-car MP3
player requires that the disc be written in ISO9660 format
i.e. all file/folder names are 8 characters or less.
