Nothing is impossible. Theoretically it is possible to extract the different instruments from an MP3.
Now as to achieving this as close as possible with current tools, I would recommend using the beatslicer tool that comes with Fruityloops. It will dice and slice all your wav's into beats and convert it for you into an FLP file.
Now to get closer then that you'll have to start looking for replacement samples. Something that sounds the same or sample them yourself.
Then all you do is match them up and slowly illiminate the beatslices.
To get closer samples. Uses filters on the beat slices and illiminate the frequencies you don't want. Of course you'll have to do some tuning with those samples, but thats still possible.

If you were looking for a easy way to do this.. sorry. Not yet. someday you'll have it.

The way I do it is to convert a MP3 to a Midi, they import the midi, and strip it down my self, of course its not going to sound good, but at least you have something to work with

FORGET IT !

There is no way a program can extract from a WAV all the different iinstruments playing and filter them and the pitch out for each instrument seperately !!!

IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN.. A .FLP FILE IS ACTUALLY A BUNCH OF DIFFERENT SAMPLES PUT TOGETHER AND SEQUENCED THROUGH FRUITY LOOPS. FRUITY LOOPS PUTS IT ALL TOGETHER!!! the only way to make a fruity loops file is by opening a flp file in fruity , and "save as" whatever you want it to be .wav .mp3 then fruity will play the sequence for what ever was previously recorded in steps...

It can't be done as far as I know. You'll need FruityLoops regardless if you want to give it a shot. There is no .FLP conversion software around. Maybe one day.

If you have Fruity Loops, open a blank template and upload the .wav file to a channel. There you can edit it with the software and/or save as... and now it's an .flp file. It's best if you move the .wav file to a folder in FLStudio with related .wav files.
MP3 files can be converted to MIDI with several programs. Midi files can then be imported to FLStudio where then they can be saved to .flp files.

it is not possible to convert an mp3 or wav into a flp file because...

when you render an mp3 or wav with fruity loops of other software it blends everything together, so you cant convert it back. it's a bit like trying to unscramble eggs!

If you render a one track wave onto one track in fruity loops that has nothing else with it, then you have rendered that .wav into an .flp w/o any crossover or blending. You can use that separate .flp in conjunction with the rest of your stuff as you would a .wav, right? I mean add that .flp to the rest of your .flp's and keep everything basically separate as far as you have to.
Does everyone understand, or am I going over your heads again?

Are you trying to rip it down to tracks in fruity loops because that is imposible...now just for using a sound from a mp3 or wave... that is posible and I know how to do it
