hi folks
I am using cakewalk pro and I want run other midi progs at the same time,but I cant do because the the midi in/out is being used by cakewalk.On cakewalk's site it says you need to find a multi client driver,but I can't seem to find one.
Can anyone help me in my hour of need?

Playing Audio CD' on computer cd player

Why does my computer cd player recognize audio cd's as CDA fliel? This just started happening a few weeks ago when I was burning audio cd's using a cd re write drive. I have tried several ways to change how programs are recognized, but still now luck. Any suggestions?

The format for an audio track on a CD is CDA. You can burn CDs with other file formats but not as an audio CD that can be read by a regular stereo/CD player. CDA is the format for an audio CD, that's all there is to it.

URGENT PATCH FOR ADAPTEC EZ CD 4.0

Easy CD Creator 4.0 does not register my writer being 16x speed. I believe that there is a

I have lots of reel to reel tapes and normal cassets. I like to copy them on CDs. I need a descent softeare that will allow me to copy the the tapes and cassets to CD. Can any one help?

There are ovbiously a number of people out there who appear to have IQs in single figures.

DO NOT ask for serials, cracks etc. on this forum. You won't get one, and your posting will be removed. All you do is make more work for the moderators of this forum and annoy those people who want help.

Where to find good Hip Hop drum loops ?

At the moment I'm mainly using audio drum loops in my arrangements, but am slowly running out of the few I have ! ! Anybody know of good websites or anything where I can get my hands on some good hip hop loops - drums or otherwise ?? Cheers anyone...

Well, you're already in one of the most popular discussion forums on the topic! I haven't seen any chatrooms that are as good. Just stick around here. Read the posts, check out <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/tutorials.html">this page</a> and spend some time reading the messages in this forum. If you become a part of this place, you'll get a lot out of it. If all you want are answers and for others to do all the hard work for you, you'll find no one will help you. There's a great zine you can get called <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/">Music Software Weekly</a> which has heaps of news and info on music software. Check it out.

Try one of the file-sharing programs that doesn't restrict itself to just MP3s. Imesh, Gnutalla and heaps more programs do more than just share MP3. You can get these programs on this sites MP3 section. Find the MP3 section via the <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/">front page</a>.

You can use <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Midiscan/
">Midiscan</a> to scan in sheet music and
create multi-track midi files.

Then you can use any MIDI player to listen to the
music - you'll find heaps of them at

To burn to CD you will first need to 'Render' the
midi file into audio and you can do this with one

i was trying to copy my staind cd to use in my van and i cant get the cd copied. i tried the hp cd copy software and nothing happended, now i have two new coffee coasters. could you tell me what i can do. i have a cd burner but either the software i have is unable to do this or i am doing something wrong

Most music is covered by copyright and the owners
don't give it away for free.

However, music that written by a composer who died
more than 50 years ago is in the public domain and
a few places will give you sheet music of this for
free.

You can download <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/cgi/htdig/htsearch.cgi?config=htdig&restrict=%2Fsmm%2Fprograms%2F&exclude=&method=and&format=builtin-long&words=Opus+Viewer">Opus Viewer</a> and you will get some
free interactive sheet music with this, then you
can pay to get more if you want it later.

LP recorder "clipping" problems!

Muzical Wizard Pattern Software - HELP PLEASE!

I purchased a legitimate copy of "Muzical Wizard" software about 2 years ago. It came on a floppy disk with manuals. I've recently purchased a new computer and found out my floppy is no longer readable. I tried getting in touch with the company that made the software, but I believe they are out of business. Does anyone have a copy I could get from them? I'd be happy to pay for it. I do own this copy legally and have the receipt to prove it. Thanks for your help

USB MIDISPORT troubles
