Sometimes my system can not find the recording drive, and when it does it starts to record and stops, locking up my computer. Is there a software fix or should I never purchase SONY products again? Thanks for any help.

Check drive connections, if it's SCSI, check SCSI controller drivers (get latest adaptec ASPI drivers), get latest CD-R & CD-burning software drivers .
If all fails, sue Sony & get in line to be a millionaire...

Mine is a USB connection and it only occasionally works without hanging the whole system. I recently upgraded my pc to 1.4GHZ AMD with tons of (DDR)RAM and cannot get it to work at all. The drive appears to be OK so am I missing some driver or system setting. I have read all the reviews which say this is a great writer - how so?
Please help otherwise its going out the window

further comments... Read their website and "don't" be tempted, it's another crook lining their pockets by providing false hope to their victims. If you ever come across this sort of offer again, make sure you warn people the same way as we are warning you. This thing has gone on for many many years and "wont" work for you. I know people that have tried it from my youth when it was 50pence and go and NOBODY has ever made money from it. My whole family handed off £10 each and got nothing. There is some rich german that did, you'll get nothing back.
These people hijack these forums to do their duty deed. Turn it around on them and make their post a warning to all the people that read it, rather than handing your money away to these sad human beings..

it's actually quite a powerful and impressive site - the guy is smart in a decieptful kind of way.
This 'money well' idea just kicked off on the Isle of White here in the uk under the banner 'women empowering women'. unbelievablly clever because most houswifes are daft enough to fall for it. the end result was 100 wifeys getting 20 grand each (4 grand stake) and 1,000 loosing their 4 grand with no comeback - or recipt! with an 'invisable' scheme on the net you can't be garanteed a penny. even in the real world where you can check up on the organisers the majority loose everything because as soon as the takers dry up the money flow stops. on a finite planet the scheme is a pie in the sky dream where only the shrewd survive!

This guy isn't smart. Some people don't have a sense of the common good in them. The think that everyone is to be taken advantage of, there is nothing smart about that. Being smart in society is getting to the stage where you realise that the people around you are all in the same shite fight and good will and sharing will make the experience easier. These people are anti that way of thinking and that could be attributed to a lack of intelligence. I don't knock people for being dumb but I will if they try and rip me off.

Mixes???
Mixes are a combination of different tracks that make up a mix, hence the name mix. Do you have the individual instrument tracks themselves or do you want to create a mix from some commercial music, as in DJ'ing??? There are all sorts of options when we know exactly what you want to do.

You know how cheerleading routines are usually? Well, they're usually like upbeat songs and maybe have some beats thrown in and mix in some cool little blurbs here and there... sorry I know nothing about the making of them but I would love to learn!

WHAT!! Within 7 days, I started getting money in the mail! I was shocked! I figured it would end
soon, but the money just kept coming in. In my first week, I made about $25.00. By the end of the
second week I had made a total of over $1,000.00! In the third week I had over $10,000.00 and it's
still growing. This is now my fourth week and I have made a total of just over $42,000.00 and it's still
coming in rapidly. It's certainly worth $6.00, and 6 stamps, I have spent more than that on the
lottery!! Let me tell you how this works and most importantly, why it works. Also, make sure you
print a copy of this article NOW, so you can get the information off of it, as you need it. I promise

I love when these guys turn up....
....as it give me the opportunity to point out this IS a scam. I have had a lot of contact with this sort of offer since my youth. IT WONT WORK FOR YOU. It works for some people that have taken the positions where it will work for them. If you send you money in the mail to anyone, send it to a charity as this will DEFINATELY NOT WORK... I have tried it with my whole family and nobody got anything. It's a legal RIPOFF...

MAC app. for splitting WAV/Aiff - simply
Can somone please recommend a simple program for splitting large wav/aiff files that you get from recording vinyl. Not the auto split that rely on sound gaps - and preferably not Pro Tools type program. A simple click & cut type app. MAC please. Thanks.
