I haven't found any... the FujiFilm 40i mp3 player is really annoying! You have to use the USB cable to transfer files despite its having a SmartMedia card. All so it can do some stupid copy protection to this SVQ format that doesn't even work, it just makes the camera harder to use.

If you find anything, please let me know!

Inspector Not SHowing Instruments

How do I get Studio to show instruments. When I activate Inspector I get an empty dialogue box. I am using internal Sound BLaster midi output.

I now note that nothing shows up in the Inspector dialogue boxes.

I have many ideas but am not musically inclined in any way. I am trying to find a way to start putting my ideas down in a logical way. My wife wants to sing a few songs that she has written and we are trying to kill two birds with one stone. Is there software out there (user friendly) that can satisfy this? I am aiming for something quality but simple to use.

OK, I just downloaded a music program.
I have a Creative Sound Blaster Live card.
I have the Crative SB Live drivers on a CD.
So why do my drums sound like crap?
Also my computer says that my MIDI output is Crystal Sound Fusion.

Somebody please e-mail me a solution

I want to record 8 or 10 sources at the same time independently of each other into the computer. The 8 sources/ microphones into the mixer, out as 8 and into the harddrive as 8. ie track 1 on the mixer should be track 1 on the sequencer. How the hell do i do this with the soundcards on the market which only have a maximum of 2 analogue inputs? I hope you get what I am trying to say.
In short, 8 sources into the mixer, 8 sources out of the mixer, 8 sources into the hard drive, edit mix down to cd.

So you want each channel of audio from your mixer to feed into its own channel on the audio editor so it can mix properly?

What you need is an 8 i/o soundcard.Some 2 i/o soundcards have s/pdif or t/dif wich allows you to add additional a/d/a converters as well.

So, youll need an I/o converfter for each track youd record. Popular 8 i/o soundcards are the midiman delta 1010, layla 24, motu 2408, and digidesign digi 001.

The motu 2408 is made to be easily expanded btw...

In short to do what you want a 2 i/o soundcard isnt an option.-

You need a soundcard with 8 a/d/a converters, or banks of digital i/o so you can attach a/d/a converters such as the excellent ones by rme.

the motu 2408 should do all youd want.

Download their media desktop and your ready to start sharing.(Just like Napster) But you can share everything from music, video, software, just about anything you can put into a PC. translating windows mp3 titles over to a Mac

I have over 4000 songs in MP3 files on my PC. I also have an Imac
I'd like to use as a stereo. My problem is that all my
MP3 titles do not translate when I bring them over to the Mac
(I don't rely on the MP3 tag files). How can I translate window
titles to Mac without, God forbid, retyping them.
