U can try Nero burning it burns your mp3 files into wave file very easily

help...have just loaded gigasampler 160..works fine as a stand alone sampler but have problems with cakewalk..when i run cake walk all the sounds in the sampler get reset and some times upto six channels get stuck with one sound.can someone help me fast?

Recording WAV's to CD

I am ready to start recording numerous wav's I have to cd, but am worried about the sound levels. Some where recorded off LP's, some off CD's, and some from downloaded MP3"s. But they are at different volume levels when played back. When I burn the Cd, will they go on Cd same way, or will they all play at same volume when done? If not, what do I need to level them all out while recording or even beforehand? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please respond to email address as don't get here often to check board.

I can tell you what I do and always get excellent results. I use CoolEdit Pro 1.2 to record a song and I keep the input recording level very high. It should be between 0 and -3 for best results.
After that I remove any surface noise,clicks.pops etc using CoolEdit and then either convert it as a RealAudio/MP3 or burn it on a CD.

CSG to MIDI or WAV

I need ANY software, that can convert CSG Files (Casio Keyboard) to MIDI through the computer, or some software that allows me to record the music from the keyboard to the PC in wav or something.

simple solution--connect Casio out cable to
soundcard ,play whatever you want and record it
on your pc as a wav file or convert it to mp3.
See i dont have that problem-my Korg keyboards all
have a floppy disk drive, so whatever i record
can be saved as midi file and edited in computer.
Anyway thats what i would do if i would be in
your shoes....Good luck.

I`m relatively new at this thing still. My problem is that my sound card is not working although it is new, I was told to download something to get it working again I`m just not sure exactly what to download I use windows 98. Could someone kindly guide me as to what i should do? Thanks so much...Jo :o)

MAYBE you need to update your drivers to make all programs recognize your sound-devices. Check the name/manufacturer of your soundcard (for example "Creative Labs"> card "AWE 64"), go to their website and check for downloadable updates on drivers (or contact them when you get really desperate). Always check "My Computer" >devices> soundcards> properties (>test) to make sure it works correctly. It could also be a program you are using that doesn't work with your card, but that doesn't happen very often.

music printer plus (a dos notation/midi program)

Music Printer Plus (MPP) works great in DOS using
486-66 rig, but only in DOS. It does'nt do Windows and
won't recognize the "Crystal" sound integrated in
HP 6630 rig. So, I use it on my older 486-66 DEll,
but can anyone help me to get it to run in DOS mode on
the HP 6630? The original dealer won't support the
program any longer, and I can't find the authors.
I don't want to start learning all over again with

Bug with Sound Card HoonTech DSP24 - PLZ HELP

i have just bought the HoonTech DSP24 + ADDA2000 rack, but after installing drivers+soft i have a bug :
for all audio application i use : the sound loop on itself, for instance in soundforge the wav files can't be read in whole, only firts samples are read in loop

Hi there
I have the st adc & dac 2000
im pretty happy about the card but there are a few
bugs for me also that need continuous work and they differ from operation system,
wich os are you using ?
I havent really had any major problems with it
in soundforge on the playback side , in other progs i did with low bit rate because it was locked in the prog of the card or so in logic i have seen a few bugs also with the audio but usually it works ,
and if i try to lock the frequency sometimes at 44 or 48 it will still go back to 22
recording took a little more work i havent used the digital yet i still connect to a dat with
auxiliary.
what frequency are you using and bit rate
and sounforge version ...heres an example of a kinda non major bug everytime i install directx and reboot i get only white noise i must reeeeboot again and then its fine.
There are a few not too major bugs like this
for me .
But in xp I found it to be much more stable,
its probably not much help for you but i have had it for almost a year and seen some bugs .
Did you get it to work.
You probably might have fixed the problem by now anyways

There are no bugs with this card it is really stable. I use it myself in professional situations every week. If you want any help then visit the hoontech site were many users can help you out on the forum.
