Can't download Vocalwriter for Mac

Each time I try to download Vocalwriter for the Mac I get the error message:
"Netscape is unable to find the file or directory named /info-mac/gst/midi/vocal-10.hqx. Check name and try again."
What can I do to successfully download it. Thank you.

reaktor without a midi-keyboard - that is using the

1) No, unfortunatly cubase uses the keyboard to control itself, Wait...... Run reaktor as stand-alone, press record in cubase then use reaktor as normal. There will be a pause at the beginning of the audio file, but easily sorted out with an editor.

2) Again no! (The keyboard thing)

3) If youve the ORIGINAL then this might not be much help. Give me your e-mail and i will send it to you.

grayed-out soundfonts tool in cakewalk?

Anybody that can help here? I know I have installed soundfonts correctly, sfman32.dll has been refreshed, and I STILL get grayed-out SoundFonts option in Cakewalk HS9. Anybody know a solution on this, please help? SoundFonts don;t even show up under source. It seems that Cakewalk tech support is scratching their heads on this.

I am using Cakewalk as well and couldn't pull up any effects from the top menus. I found that if I right click on the effects box for a particular track, I could then access all the effects, this sounds like the same type of issue. Hope this helps.

Hi Mooseboy,

Did you install the sound font manager when you installed HS9? You need to have the manager installed in order for Cakewalk to access the sound font features.

Mac audio routing

That's quite a good question but I don't know if it's possible with the standard Mac AV. I suspect that it might be possible with some of the proper PCI Pro sound cards.

I'll try and find out some more as I would like to be able to do that myself but have never thought of it. Sorry...

BTW, don't try connecting the Minijack output to the Minijack input, stupid I know but worth a mention just incase you didn't know.

You might just have to do it with an EQ (turn down everything around 3Khz)...

Music Match Jukebox converts mp3's to wav. I use that and for the ones that give me trouble I use mp3 to wav.

how to burn audio cds with multimedia material

Recently I've tried to make my son copies of a couple of cds that have multimedia stuff on them. (Examples: Joe Henry "Fuse;" Air "Premieres Symptoms") Invariably, they copy ok until the last track, when after beginning to copy it, they have an error. The last track is also kind of long, so it must have the multimedia stuff on it. I could live without copying the multimedia stuff, but how do I get the last traci?

I have been writing for many various groups for a long time but have just started working on the computer trying to compose. My problems is this: MusicTime Deluxe is OK but won't let me use 24 staffs and when I play back my score, my trumpet sounds like a sick, make that very sick, oboe. Any suggestions? I have a Creative Labs PCI 128 Soundcard.

I am not familiar with the MusicTime Delux program but the first things you might check is: 1. Make sure you have 24 tracks selected before you go to the "staff" view. 2. I'm assuming you're using General MIDI to create your scores. If so, insert the GM Program Change number for trumpet which is 56.
