Midisoft Studio 6.0 and Desktop Sheet Music 2.0

Need to know how to scan sheet music and transpose written composition/chart. Have windows 98 and have loaded Desktop Sheet Music 2.0. Please Help. Desire to transpose a written copy of F Horn part to B Flat Trumpet or other key from paper copy to paper copy.

My computor crashed so I now have new one, but midisoft will not load on...wha'sup?

Music won't play

I have Windows XP on my pc. I discovered a music program called "Midisoft Sheet Music 2.0" on this pc. I don't know whether I downloaded it or whether it came with the pc. I can enter notes and there is sound when the note is entered. But when I am finished and try to play the whole thing then there is no sound yet there is a "playing" message in a green box at the bottom. I don't know anything about writing or playing music; I am just curious about this program. Why is there no sound when my composition play?

SmartScore will do it but it is an expensive alternative ($400). Another is "OMeR" which runs
with Melody and Harmony Assistant; software by D & O Guillion. That is the cheaper alternative.
