VST can be run on a Laptop.
Minimum: Pentium Processor 133 MHz / 32 MB RAM; Minimum 256 Colors @ 800 x 600 pixels; Sound card and MIDI interface required

software samplers and multi outs support

trying to determine the best software sapmler to run with my VST/Darla analogue out card to provide a sampler with 8 analog outs.
I've tried unity DS-1 but it is complex and unreliable.
I have the demos of Signum s1100 and Virtual sampler.
Which is best? are there any other users trying to acheive the same or do you all end up going back to the hardware versions. I've outgrown my s900, my soundblaster live is great but only two outs.

******* get realjukeboxs, click on tools, then configuration wizard, then when it asks to secure your files, click the check off, then when you get to the part that asks you if you want rmx, mp3 or wav, pic mp3 , and everytime you record you songs will turn into mp3.

You need a <a href="/smm/cat/CD_RIPPERS/">CD Ripper</a> to convert CDA to MP3.

playing downloaded music files

i have winamp operating on my system. I'm okay playing cd music.
But I can't seem to play downloaded mp3 files. Winamp shows the name of the selection, and
the processing bar moving, but no sound comes out of my speakers.

can anyone one help

Don't be offended - I don't think you are docile, BUT have a play
with the Volume Controls and Audio Properties (in the SysTray)
before thinking there is something wrong with Winamp or the files.

Start in our <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/cat/RE-MIXING_DJ/">Re-Mixing DJ</a> category. If you are running Windows,
try software like <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/MixMeister/">MixMeister</a> (freeware) or <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Db_7x7/">Db-7x7</a> (freeware).

For Macintosh, have fun with <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Db_7x7_mac/">Db-7x7</a> (freeware) or <a href="http://www.hitsquad.com/smm/programs/Virtual_DeeJay/">Virtual DJ</a> (Demo).

I want to remix an old song on CD that I have.
I have the programs Fruityloops (but I hate the Beatslicer so that's not what I want), ACID 2, FT2, Buzz.
How can I get the song into these programs and then if I want to, divide it into different parts.
If it's possible I want to delete the drums on the track so i can replace it with my own.
Can I do these things in these programs, if I can't - can you mension some programs where I can do these kind of things ???

i can play piano only by note, not ear, cant play by chords, except c, f, d, g. I was wondering if there was any software that would put notes to songs and in any key .? then i could print it out, that would be so easy. (christion music)
