K, yer askin for alot.
To transfer MP3's to cd, you need a burner. Panasonic makes pretty decent burners at a good price. (Under the name Matshuita) You are also gunna need cd ripper software. AudioCatalyst by Xing rocks. Costs about 30 bucks, and yeah, you can find illegal copies of it floatin around if you want. The software will decode an MP3 back into WAV format in the digital domain, keepin the track fresh. You will also need burning software, Adaptec Easy CD is a good prog, and it SHOULD be shipped with yer burner. ASK if a software bundle is included with it at point of sale. Then you select your tracks that are converted to wave, insert your blank, and it gets burnt.

www.dccopyworld.com has the util there (ADX to wav) under audio utils. You need winzip and an exe called LHA 123 (find on the net ) to extract it. Point to LHA 123 form winzip (OPTIONS...PROGRAM LOCATIONS 1st before extracting!!!) If unsure try to extract the util without LHA 123 and follow the help instructions.

NOTE: You have to DRAG the ASF files into the ASF extractor EXE to unpack them. This changes them to ADX.Ypu then DRAG the ADX files into the ADX2WAV EXE to make em wavs (Put straight into your "c" drive (or find new wavs if elsewhere).
If already ADX the just do the second drag.

NOTE: (again) Not all ASF/ADX files are music or sound effects so you may have to try lots before you find'em! p.S. do remeber to run the LHA 123 exe before pointing to it (The whole process does work,you may have to mess)

Not meaning to bust any hopes or anythin here, but there simply is NO software capable of cleaning vocals out of an existing track. Well I mean, yeah there is software on the net which claims to have the ability, but honestly, the quality of the track after having vocals ripped is severely diminished. And there will still be phantom vocals throughout the track, especially if any kind of reverb or phaser effects were applied to the vocals.

You can try it, but if you are expecting or need good results, you would be better off petitioning the producer for the masters.

I agree with the post above re: quality and bleed through... but, if you want to give it a go try

What is the best way to record MIDI to WAV in Cubase ?!?

I want to record MIDI tracks (which access two synths
- Yamaha CS1X & Access Virus) and audio tracks to WAV
in Cubase.
How do I have to connect the audio outputs of the
synths with the PC to be able to record both of them
in stereo ?!?
And do I need an additional recording software
(like SoundForge, Wavelab, Samplitude or Cool Edit) to
record the MIDI and audio tracks to WAV ?

No,you don't need more. I presume you got a mixer.
Enable the line in of your soundcard an let the
midi play.You need a full duplex card if you got
only one card.

Nois at beginning of MP3s

I've downloaded two wav to Mp3 encodere (8hz MP3 and Rob Fantastic with blade Mp3 Encoder) and Mp3s I've made on both these programs have noises at the beginning of the files. Ar there encoder's that don't do this? Are there any freeware or Shareware MP3 editors that can save at 128Kbps or higher?

Hey!! :-D

If you are ripping from cd and converting to mp3, you may be suffering from CPU overruns. This causes noise and tracking errors in yer intermediate wav files, and subsequently, your mp3s.

If that is the case, you should slow the speed at which you are ripping from disc.

If its not the case, I have no idea why you would have noise.

Download a copy of XING's audiograbber, or XING's AudioCatalyst. The latter proggy is much better and I believe it can compress up to 256k.

Check out MP3 SOFTWARE section of www.mp3now.com I am not sure if there is a demo of Catalyst available, but the proggy costs about 30 bucks if there isnt

Actually, i am converting wav files to Mp3. No cd ripping at all. I have a P3, 450Mhz, 128 rm, so I don't think it is a cpu problem. Maybe I'll try to download yet another encoder.
